They have to end conference officials. The explanation they gave holds no water and the media needs to continue to bring this up. Should be the first question at every big 10 media session the remainder of the season.

Anyone in a financial regulated market is monitored constantly, I know many on here have the same disclosure requirements I have (stock trading bans, lending limits, compliance clearinghouses etc.) with all the Kalshi stuff it would be criminal to not have the same framework for anyone with material influence on CFB.

I don't think that rule is talking temporal/clock, that rule is talking about location for the spot.

I am curious about that too. Does 'live ball' include a pass? The refs never declare a ball dead when it crosses out of bounds, they only look at where the foot of the catcher comes down. Perhaps a pass is 'oob' when it crosses the line but it is not dead until an oob player touches it.

EDIT: That article is titled "Article 3 - Loose Ball Out of Bounds" I don't think that refers to a forward pass. By Rule 4(1)(3)i, a live ball is declared dead ... "i. When a forward pass is ruled incomplete." A pass is ruled incomplete only after it touches something or someone.
