    Salright. I have a lot of sympathy for people who fail because I watched them fail and as much as you try some people will still fail. Hell, I failed several times. I also hate guns for several reasons none more so than an unlocked cabinet. Anyway.

    14 friends in total from HS. Drugs, drunk driving, guns, suicides..... Yep. I was with them in some instances. Had just left them before they died in others. Sucked big time. Kinda the reason I am who I am. Made some simple choices that turned out to much more significant. Other times I was damn lucky to be alive.

    Well where I live, it is relatively progressive compared to the rest of the state so I really like it and enjoy much of both worlds ( lots of cultural diversity, limited government interference, low taxes, good infrastructure). Inter-racial marriage was not taken of the state constitution until 12 years ago, so its still mostly frowned upon (reality). There are a ton of yahoos outside the city limits though. You are on your own out there.

    We had a recent meth lab bust just outside of North Charleston. One of the bustees was named Kunta Kinte McDonald ( I shit you not)

    No I don't think you are outdated. I agree with you. "That screams look at me!!" But someone somewhere thinks that looks good which is why it perpetuates so it does serve some purpose in society I guess. Now what that actually means about society is another question. Too deep?
