By the way I was just joking about the prove it comment. And if we aren't suppose to read into the small things... what the hell are we suppose to do for the months of january-august?

Damnit Skylar, get in touch w/ our man Jaylon. For the team's sake, just touch base with him so he feels the love babe! :)

Skylar must have followed Jaylon back since that interview. Wasn't she the first to respond to him on twitter about where he should go to school?

Interview with Bleacher Report is funny. I love how the guy was trying to criticize ND by aluding to BK being overly intense and he says BK is cool and Urban is being real intense.

None of the Bleacher report "bloggers" that like ND are good, the minoirity of good writers there are anti-nd

Sampson said lots of pro-ND stuff in Jaylon's corner. Also thinks Purdue might be as big of a threat as O$U.

Not taking anything away from ND, just saying O$U isn't quite as serious as some of us (myself included) think/thought.

If Purdue is as big a threat as OSU, then this thing is over

As the Grublmeister would say time to "pop bottles"

I am a Luers alum who has some ties to the football program. The reason Purdue could be a big a threat is because the only Luers alum to make it to the NFL is LB Anthony Spencer(Dallas Cowboys). Spencer went to Purdue.

I am not saying this will have a lot to do with his decision. I am saying that I see the logic in Purdue being a player for Jaylon's services.

He's saying you're putting the cart way before the horse, counting your chickens before they hatch, jumping the gun, etc...

I believe he was actually referencing a picture Grubl posted from Little 5 with two chicks that had a caption that said something to the effect of being "reckless"...that guy parties hard.

Edit: The picture is Post #397 on the Bang Bang Notre Dame Gang thread for all those who missed it. Pretty hilarious.

He likes that the staff visits him that much, even though they don't have to. Basically stopped in just to say hi and he expects them again soon. Would like to have a decision done before season, probably August. Also said if he isn't sure he will use his officials to help which would obviously stretch it out. Would prefer not to have any distractions during his season.

No doubt that this is the number 1 target for Kelly, possibly in his entire tenure no? Maybe just this year, Ishaq, Lynch, and Tuitt were pretty big targets in 2011 too haha. But still, HUGE.

Kid is a game changer, the kind of commit that has a huge impact on the field and in recruiting, similar to Manti.

Imagine if Manti had committed in August. Can you picture the ripple effect on the rest of recruiting? I think Jaylon can have that kind of impact.

It's going to be an interesting summer.

I agree about committing early having a positive ripple effect and I think that he will commit (relatively) sooner than later.

Ran a 4.54 40-time last night at AWP. Pretty solid speed for a linebacker! Would have been the 3rd fastest LB time at the combine this year
