I will say this, I'm glad it's to USF because I want Skip Holtz to do well.
That is one of the best Ewing Theory stories of all time. And by now everyone knows how I feel about the Ewing Theory and Aaron Lynch.
is this really a tweet from her?
good job on raising a mommas boy, not as mentally tough as he is physically, I guess.

Don't be surprised if Aaron Lynch stays with the Irish.

Well that took care of that.Do yourselves a favor and squash any hope you have of Aaron staying.
He's visiting USF this weekend.

I just got done watching the ESPN 30 for 30 film on Marcus Dupree and to say there are a lot of similarities would be an understatement.
Marcus Dupree left Oklahoma and went to Southern Miss. Here's the quote from the film that Aaron will probably be saying at some point down the road
"I should've went back to Oklahoma to be honest with you, I should've went back to Oklahoma. I should've listened to my Momma. She never told me nothing wrong, I should've went back to Oklahoma, but I didn't."
We know things at ND are bad when our greatest "Ewing Theory" candidate was a freshman.

I fully expect Aaron to leave because he quit the team and is in the process of leaving. I would be very suprised if he stayed. But no harm in hoping. It seems like the wiser decision, and so I hope he makes it.
As far as his visiting USF, if there is one thing that I have learned in the past two years its that reading the tea leaves is pretty worthless. I don't think his visiting USF guarantees his leaving anymore than canceling the trip would suggest he's staying. A lot happens at the last minute.
I spoke to someone close to Lynch last night and he told me, “it’s pretty much a done deal to USF”. The only thing that will make it official is when he enrolls in class.
