Had my doubts about Aaron Lynch on the way the whole recruiting thing went down.
However, he is now my favorite player, he has that badass quality we need, really tough to block unless being held. As only a true freshman.
That said, I hope he knows what a great opportunity ND is and is happy there. Thousands of kids would jump at a 240k full ride scholarship to ND. Lynch will dominate this year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unlike Coach Diaco who I believe is a solid 6'0" barefoot, 6'1" in crocs, Aaron is still potentially growing I think he may be 6'6" in cleats this year.

It will eventually come out on exactly what went down, but I'm guessing Mother told him that he needed to get back on campus and deal with it like a man. That of course was probably followed up with some TLC, home cooking and a "mother's love" talk to make him feel better before bringing him back.

Highly doubtful. And there is absolutely no use in speculating. Just be happy he's back and move on. Probably the only person on this board who has a good grasp of the full situation is TP.

The title of the thread is pretty self-explanatory, and there really wasn't any doubt what would be inside of it. I'll never understand why people lack the self-control to avoid things that make them angry on the internet.

I think the idea of starting a thread to pass along something that Aaron's mother tweeted concerning her son's status with the football team isn't totally ridiculous. Maybe there is a larger case to be made that that says a lot about where we are as an internet-based culture, but that wasn't really my point.

All of the speculating and tortured analysis of what this woman's tweet could possibly mean, followed by the bad jokes....I don't know, I just feel like if someone happened upon this site for the first time, I'd hope this thread isn't what they would see first. I think it makes us look like losers, honestly. There are probably two or three posts in this thread that would be of any interest to someone that was here to read or talk about football.

Paranoia here is justified simply because in a lot a ways the combination of Aaron Lynch and Louis Nix is what has raised Notre Dame up to the potential --- REAL potential, not fantasy thinking --- of being one of the country's most ferocious, competent, and feared defenses.

This is a valid point. Some guys do get carried away on here (read:me), and the line between an informative thread and a bunch of dudes carrying on about something trivial or non-sensical is crossed with brute force on occasion.
