Zaire and Matuska, and a fair chance Notre Dame picks up more buckeyes. Not too bad.
To be fair, Matuska doesn't have a OSU offer and Zaire's wasn't actionable.

I hope Decker enjoys his seat on the bench, and then being tossed aside in a year or two for a better recruit due to a "team rule violation."
He did not play. 4 years of eligibility remain.
Decker left on his own accord to go to his childhood favorite. His position and Ohio recruiters both left. His position coach was pissed that he wasn't given the OC job, so he bitched and moaned about it. He stayed in-state and committed to Urban Meyer in his first year. To imply that the staff "messed up" this recruitment is, frankly, pretty stupid.
I'm with Terry on this analysis. Totally.
Me three!

Decker blocks people with bad intentions. Some aim for pancakes: Decker aims for making craters out of the DL.
on another hand if you're on the two deep at urban...that's pretty impressive i don't care what there "depth" at O line is. if he was with us and in our two deep we'd be raiving about his potential and how hard he must have worked in the weight room.
yes...i really believe it...personally i didn't play BCS caliber college football so to be a freshman at a top 10 program and be put in the two deep that's impressive.
remember nick martin was in the two deep as a freshman too, soooooo are we assuming our O line was weak last year then??
ok...
Ok...im not

I am not going to try to guess.
Here is what I say: No one pays attention to Tate Nichols. He is driving people into the ground at the college level. Guys like Aaron Lynch. Can Decker do that now? No! Will he be able to do that some day? Maybe.
Do I have questions about Deckers speed and ability to catch someone is space? Yes.
Does ND have a wealth of OL talent? Yes.
Since Diaco's interview the other day, does everybody use terms like "loyalty" and "discordance" when talking about Deckers two recruiters? Yes.
Is ND set for the OL haul of a lifetime with this class? Yes.
I just have to shake my head at the mentality! It is like someone offering you a Classic '71 LT-1, accepting it and then saying why did I take this, I hate white, now I have to deal witha a white car. I guess I can't do anything right.
I wonder what it is going to take for ND fans to stop sticking their d1cks in the meatgrinder, for all these stupid @ss mistakes?
First Kelly effed up a thousand things, one at a time and he needed to be fired.
Then hiring Harry Heistand was a mistake.
You see it goes on and on!

But not 3 days into practicing with the team. There are 3 explanations for this IMO:
1) O$U's OL depth is atrocious
2) One or two of the upperclassmen slacked off and Decker worked hard. Urbie puts him in the 2 deep to make a point.
3) Urbie's (once again) being a douche and he and Warriner are throwing this back in the face of Kelly and ND by putting Decker in the 2 deep. They have no intention of keeping him there as most OL need a year to develop to the college game.

That's some serious Mel Gibson conspiracy theory going on there Rack'em.
That's some serious Mel Gibson conspiracy theory going on there Rack'em. All due respect, I don't think you can be further from the truth. I can't believe anyone would think that Decker is on the two-deep just to spite another school they will never play. C'mon now. Urbie is slime, but he didn't win 2 NC's worrying about crap like that.
Your first 2 theories are MUCH more plausible.
Also, why can't we just accept that Decker can play? Why can't we just accept that he has impressed their coaching staff? Sorry, but if BK praised a freshman, we'd all be pumped up about it; we wouldn't be looking at the other side of it (unless you're username is DillonHall LOL). We do it all the time with freshmen. As has been pointed out, we had freshmen on the 2 deep very early on last year. We're sitting here praising our O-line in one breath, and in the other killing OSU's depth. Well, we both have/had true freshmen on the 2 deep, whether they were actually the true '2' or not.
I'm not a Decker fan b/c of the way he spurned us, but our roster is LITTERED with guys that have spurned other schools for ND (Kiel anyone?). So I wish the kid good luck and I hope he makes the most out of the education he can get...
Theory #3 was #3 because it was the least likely, though my favorite. I'm still bitter about losing Decker because he is a good player and we lost him to Urban. However I just have a hard time believing he's so good that he can crack the 2 deep with 3 DAYS OF COACHING.
Please just let me have my conspiracy theory. I like ideas that make me hate that man even more.
Who gives a SH!T anymore...we dont play OSU so why do we care? Now if he went to Hoke and scUM I can see the bickering but honestly lets not be haters and its in the past. Dont get me wrong I think Urban is a tool but really...come on, we are fine at Oline without him. SWEEEET GOD!!!!!!! This talk makes me wanna jerk the wheel into a God Damn bridge embankment!!
There are those of us that have to hear it all day, every day. Posu hatred is in us... We are one with it. Embrace the hate. bwahahahahahahahahaha
