Great quotes in this article from Inside the Irish. And welcome aboard young man. ND is fortunate to have you.
Quarterback Malik Zaire commits to the Irish | Inside the Irish
“Growing up here you’re definitely born to be an Ohio State fan,” Zaire told IrishIllustrated. “At the same time, I wanted to look at where I’d want to go to school without football. I could have gone to Ohio State, been a hometown hero and that would have been great. I had a great relationship with Coach Tressel. When Coach Meyer got there we had a good one-on-one relationship too. I don’t want to say I shied away, but I lost interest when they offered like seven or eight other quarterbacks in a one or two week span. That turned me off a little.”
(If Zaire can read defenses as well as crafty coaches in Columbus, he’s on his way to a fantastic career.)
ND has offered at least 6 other QBs lol
I think he was referring to the fact that they did it all in one week immediately following his offer.
Also, I know someone asked about his 40 time. ESPN has it at 4.92.
Can that even be possible?!

It's not about forty time anyways, it's about escapability.
As long as he is Eli Manning-esque in escapability, I'm okay. Just as long they can actually move their feet, unlike Rees.
Jmunsirish;678446[B said:]If you look at his twitter, you'll see that he's already recruiting other kids to come to ND.[/B] This is an absolutely huge pickup, IMO.
According to them he is a QB and nothing else. He really likes ND and his only concern with ND is if he will get a fair shake at QB. In my personal opinion, which isnt based on too much except for a few conversations through social media, is that if he sees the writing on the wall that he wont get his shot at QB then he will go elsewhere.
Being from Ohio I assumed he was OSU's to lose but according to them he will not be a buckeye because they arent buying what Urby is selling. Also stated that Bama has some tricksters.
Top four in no order: Nebraska, Notre Dame, Pitt, Wisconsin...... decision MIGHT come in May.
and yes he is still coming this weekend!!
As long as he has the chest to lead a program ill take it.
Malik has been hitting up ND targets and friends on Twitter:
“@SebastianLarue1: @MalikZaire6 nice, but I have no offer from them.”
“@MalikZaire6: @SebastianLarue1 dag we could really use u!”
“@SebastianLarue1: @MalikZaire6 talk to them.”
Sebastian is a 4 star WR/RB from Cali, don't know how they are connected, offers are predominantly West Coast, for non-tweeters that is Larue telling Zaire to talk to the coaches
“@MalikZaire6: @EzekielElliott @JetLife_4 wud up! Hit me up”
“@MalikZaire6: @JaeeSmiff9ENT wud up man hit me up!”
Larue Sebastian 5'11" 185lbs
Rivals:WR
247:RB
scout:WR
Really want a tall WR for the class, but I think we could have room for another Davonte Neal type of WR.

Kid seems like he has a good offer sheet, wonder if we've showed any interest.
I wonder how Malik knows him? Getting guys who want to play together is a pretty big thing though. Who is gonna make this kid's thread? haha
