If u meet the school course requirements (Standifer) and aren't an absolute idiot and there are many many of those (Like a Fab Melo haha) u can get in

I would say a ~22 ACT and ~2.75 GPA as a fball player ur good

That said we prefer the smarter and the smarter prefer us (and UM, USC, Stanford etc) ex stewart and hendrix 2 of the many very smart kids

As for the intelligence of football players...I could care less really. I just want players with character and whom I can root for knowing fully that they aren't getting free tattoos or have a history of molesting high school girls. Ohio State has players on its team who have done both of those things.

It's not about intelligence per se. It's about being a quality human being and not being some dumb jock assclown who is merely a mercenary for your university to fight other mercenaries from other schools. That's not what amateur athletics is about.

lol I was joking and looked up where OSU and Miami stand next to each other and that little school in Oxford really let me down. OSU actually seems to have slightly higher average test scores than Miami per the college board.

As for the rest of your post, I tend to agree. I care more about character than I do intelligence. The same goes in more than likely all situations in my life.
