Currently about 259-1 through 20 seasons with the Irish. I don't think I'm a great player...I usually beat my friends, but I've been roughed up online from time to time.

Only loss was a shocking home defeat to a 6-5 and unranked Georgia team. That came somewhere in like 2018 and I had run off 9 straight titles. I fell from #1 to end the season at #9...didn't even get a BCS invite and crushed some MAC team in a seriously weak bowl game.

Recruiting is a little harder than 2010...no more 12 5-star recruits, but I'm generally No. 1 in the team rankings every year and pull in 4 to 7 five-star guys each year.

I also stay Indy and make my schedules really hard. I typically try to schedule about 60% ranked teams and it ends up with me playing ranked teams half the time when some of them end up sucking.

I was looking through and I think Alabama had the most games against ranked teams and was something like 44-38. Whereas I have the Irish unbeaten at something like 125-0 against ranked teams.

I didn't create any players until about 12 years when I made a big and fast QB. He finished with 4 Heisman's and stats that are crazy, like 220 TD's, 22,000 passing yards, most rushing records as well.

Just finished four years with a created Rocket Ismail. Only won two Heismans (got hurt as a junior) but crushed any and all NCAA receiving records. Used him all over the field and he put up pretty solid rushing yards too.

I usually sim my defensive play. If it's a tough opponent I'll play the third downs or if it's a really big game every down. I'd say I'm averaging 70+ points per game and I don't think a year has gone by where I didn't lead the nation in passing. I'm also top 10 in rushing in most years too.

I'm waiting for someone to break my winning streak again, but it hasn't happened. In 2010, I had a 7-5 season and then and moved to Army and built them up. Looks like I'm close to doing that now.

This is always my favorite game to come out every year.

I have tried but for some reason I can't get my players to win two Heismans in a row. Take for instance in game last season. My qb throws for over 3k yards and runs for another 1k plus a boatload of touchdowns. Yet my receiver who caught 1100 yards and ran for a couple TDs ended up winning the Heisman that year.

I was such a dork with this game this past summer. I'm on PS3 (KnuteRockne1924) and was ranked #4 at one point in mid-August. The two guys ahead of me had some cheat where there record was like 5-20 but they had a crazy amount of points and the other guy ahead of me just played like 100 more games and wouldn't message me back about a game. I used LSU online with Auburn's playbooks and ran the no-huddle (like a Oregon ridiculously fast no-huddle). I only play good people online cause it sucks to play someone whose not good and who won't concede when they're out of the game. I was no joke scoring 60+ with LSU or having 40ish and having people quit in the 3rd quarter. The goofy Auburn formation where they kinda run a pistol and have an h-back next to the QB is money. Hb dives and playactions out of that formation were too easy. I don't know if it was a glitch or what but I'd run the HB dive and bust out a 50+ yarder like 1/4 of the time. On D I would just get bored and want the ball back so I'd blitz like crazy out of the 3-3-5 or the 3-2-6 and usually give up a lot of points but also get a lot of turnovers. My PS3 broke in mid-August and when I finally got a new one I was just way more into dynasties than online (and I was a little off my online game after not playing so it was frustrating).

I play dynasty quite often. I usually try to make it "realistic" by starting at one of the worst schools in the country (so far I've done UL-Monroe, Western Kentucky, and Arkansas State), taking them to instant and miraculous success (I play on varsity because my skills are low).

With UL-Monroe, I led them to a 37-2 record over three years, culminating with a Rose Bowl win over Stanford, and then took the job at Texas in year four. I quit soon after.

With Western Kentucky, I won two national championships in my first two seasons because I play a ridiculous OOC schedule (usually the four highest ranked teams available) and I play on varsity. The Notre Dame job opened up and I took it, then dominated. Lasted three or four more seasons, got bored, and made a new one.

Third time around, I'm in year two with Arky State. Lost the opener in OT to Alabama but am undefeated halfway through the year.

But I really play the crap out of Road to Glory, even though the mode is ****. The fact that games only last 10-15 minutes appeals to me. Games are more realistic (at least to varsity level me) because you don't control one side of the ball. Had a three-time Heisman Trophy winner at WR who finished with over 9,000 career yards and 118 TD grabs. Won the national title on a 50+ yard touchdown on the final play of the game in my senior season.

Then a QB who won two Heismans and won the title in both of his final two seasons. Big numbers. 16,000+ yards.

Time to go up to All American man!
It'll take a few games to adjust but you'll dominate there too

I was just thinking about this today... I haven't played NCAA in a minute and part of that is because of the recruits...

If they do it for the whole country that would be a bigger task than the original rosters... you have to change the heck out of every team not just input names...

Umm...Luvtothe9s does a comprehensive complete makeover of EVERY player
height
weight
skill ratings
full equipment changes
if it's editable he edits it

and he does it 4 or 5 times throughout the year.

Thankfully he's got threads on numerous forums to tell him what should be changed

I was just saying he does a hell of alot more than just renaming people!

Yeah he's not going to do much more editing...some after the combine but thats about it til 12 comes out.

Just defending a friend haha
it's more than renaming a couple guys.

I wish he'd do the recruits, but he needs some time to actually play the game methinks

I was addressing the guy who quoted me...

but I would never attack those who edit the rosters FOR FREE every year... DTLinder and Blacklover and all of those guys have been great... but for the most part these roster files are just the names...

my point to what you are talking about was that if someone were to take THIS YEAR'S FILE and edit all of the outgoing seniors and change them to incoming freshman that would be a HUGE, HUGE, undertaking... far more difficult and time consuming than any of the roster files we get at the start of the year... which is already a pain in the butt... ( I did my own rosters one year on PS2... it is crazy labor and time intensive)

see what I am saying?

Yep, I hear ya brother.

I've never tried doing them all myself
oh good god that'd be painful!

Kudos to you for doing it! Even once.
Remember the glory days of FCS teams?!?!

We'll never have those back.

We may be losing the current plug in name style too if that law suit has it's way...

and yeah, I bought like four different pre season mags and used them all to do each team (I was still in between college and career that year and had much more time) it was a pace of about 12 teams a day and I did them all...

do the math... it takes far too long to do these teams

also, imagine what they (the roster file guys) will go through if that lawsuit makes it to where you can't make basic models of the players anymore.... they'll bascially have to build each team from scratch

it's a figure of speech, meaning I haven't played it in quite some time compared to other titles...
