Does anyone know how fast Badger really is?
I think around a 4.6 fourtyDoes anyone know how fast Badger really is?
I don't. But what that spectacular video showed were fantastic instincts/anticipation --- more important in a strong safety, methinks. Badger is "Mr. Slobberknocker" who WILL arrive with violence and bad intentions.
As long as a safety, especially a SS, runs around a 4.65 and has good instincts I'm good with that.If Chris improves his speed, it's all good. You never know with reported times; For the longest time Justin Ferguson was reported at a 4.8 forty, with his current true time being closer to a 4.45. And I don't hang everything on a forty either. But you have to be fast enough to get there. The last two years, while a work in process, we were basically fast enough to get there. Before that, not so much.
Who knows.. maybe he knows of some commits that we don't know about yet and released that as a mistake.
What is his status as a player? Freshman, "RS" freshman or even higher
“I can’t wait,” Badger said. “I’ve got a lot of pent up football energy. I feel bad for the first person that has to do hitting drills with me.”
"..regaining flexibility is always the hardest step toward getting back to playing shape. Strength and power usually return easily, followed by explosiveness and eventually flexibility. "
Omer warned that his players are often a little too zealous when they return from the longest football hiatus of their lives. He said most feel invincible until they hit a wall when the extra work starts to catch up with them after about six weeks. The setbacks can be a big challenge for some players.
