Heard the only real issue is his strength. Could be fine with a big summer program.

The last player that came in with this much confidence was Aaron Lynch. Normally I'd feel uneasy about freshman being so vocal about their own abilities (not that it matters how I feel), but Lynch backed it up. I'm excited to see what Tee does this spring.

Yes I do...Did you see those hits he put on people last year?

I don't understand why no one else thinks Moore is a good player.

You know I love Moore almost as much as you. Think the kid could be real good, my only worry would be coverage (we just haven't seen him do it). There is a reason he isn't on the field yet I am sure, but I can't wait until he and Grace get their shots in the middle.

You are correct he needs to improve his coverage skills greatly.

Lynch, Moore, Manti and Slaughter all have some serious swagg

I agree and I like it. That said, winning games is the ultimate swagg. A sack, an interception, a big hit might get you on the highlights, come Monday that is gone.

Hope the swagg translates to the team finally showing it's abilities.

Yeah but which of our middle linebackers doesn't? Even Manti is average in coverage. Calabrese (Ronnie) is below average, IMO. Moore can't be much worse, if any. Let him play!

wonder if moore just isn't as consistent enough in practice which makes the coaches think he isn't going to do well in game situations....i realize he was named scout def player award; however in mop up time, he has shown great flashes...put him in and lets see it! he is athletic, quick and big hitter! as u said...can't be any worse!

I love it. Does it seem like this kid is going to accept losing to anybody in the country?

I love it. Don't we want guys coming in and expecting to be impact players? Yes I know they have to earn their stripes. But, I want confident guys coming in here. And I want guys who will get after it! Look how Tuitt has opened up. Look how Nix is coming at it. Lynch was an abosulte beast, and he let it be known coming in. And he did it hurt. I love that kid. I am so jacked about the kids we have and that are coming. I absolutely love it.

Wills , K-Russell , Tee!!!!!!, Day, Shumate, Lynch, Tuitt, the Twins, Bennett, Ishaq, Koyack, Neal, Kiel, Brown, Fergy, Procise, Heggerty (sp?), Stanley, Jones, Baratti, Niklas, Davarius, Grace, etc these guys have that it factor and elite type talent level we gotta love it.

I absolutely think we are on the way back, not to domination, but to where we are battling out for a BCS Bowl and a win.

Heck, we barely lost a bowl game to a team that is stacked with talent. And really the only reason we lost is that Kelly put the wrong QB in for the majority of the game and he threw 2 INTs in the End Zone. Game Set Match when that happens. And we still almost won.

Our talent level is approaching elite status, we have good coaches, and we are getting kids with confidence and attitudes. I love it.

It also says a lot when a 1st round Draft choice type of player comes back for his senior year!

Love this team, and love this School!!! Go Irish!!!!!!!!!!!

Tommy Rees is our best option to get us back to BCS contention...

Bennett has that kind of footwork? You're kidding me. Props to him if he does.

Jackson is nothing if not driven. I'm very optimistic about his prospects.

My only concerns about Jackson have been his agility and footwork, but if he has footwork like Tee (who I believe will be REALLY special) then that removes a lot of my concern.

I think going into this year CB is a big question mark but I think the group on this team will be really good. Brown, Wood, Shepard, Jackson, and Atkinson all have the talent. In the college game more people go from unknown to known quickly. This group I think has a lot of potential.

Sherm I absolutely think Kendall Moore is the real deal. I haven't had a chance to see him in pass coverage but I can't wait to see him get those reps. Some guys just know how to get to the football and bring the wood. Kendall is that kind of backer.

I will not predict much this year, but I will say this: The loss of DGb (plus Neal), Decker, and Darby, (A whole stable of Corners, Jackson, Wood, Brown, Atkinson, etc.), with Tee, will leave ND just fine. It was more important not to lose any safeties or running backs . . . You get the point.
