Golden Tate, Ferguson, Prestwood, Rabasa and there have been others lol. But ESPN was dead on with Tate.I think this is the first recruit that committed to ND where ESPN has ranked them the highest of all of the recruiting sites.
Really hope the coaches do the right thing and put him at CB. That is where he is needed most.

I agree it's where he's needed the most; however, I think it'd be a sin to waste his offensive explosiveness
The coaches get a better look at out corner situation this spring, if it is looking terrible then maybe they look to move him to cb. Until then he is all offense.

He has All American potential at CB, not only is he fast but he is very physical despite not being very big.Once he fully adjust to playing corner I would maybe consider putting in certain packages for him on offense.
anybody else see davonte getting love on sports center
So I was just sitting here about to work on some hw and I look up and guess who's face I see on Sportscenter? Of course ESPN has to mention how Davonte Neal left 600 kids waiting at a press conference and then they quoted an II article about Davonte's family emergency. Just so you guys know I am not really mad about this because it gets ND more publicity I just knew ESPN had to say something about it on live TV.
Yeah just saw that.

Agreed, but ESPN is helping ND here in my opinion. Had he just shown up to the presser and committed to Zona or Arkansas then no way it would've made Sportscenter. ESPN gives ND recruiting headline, primetime coverage and you have to be happy about that.
Wasn't all negative either... talked about how much of a playmaker he is and how he's a huge get. Plus, you can't expect them to ignore the presser fiasco... it was a pretty crazy story.
How do you likeeee me right nowwwwwwwww
Stirring up trouble and Phillip Daniels doesn't like it. Davaris and Davonte don't play the same position but the author says they do and it means trouble for Davaris.
Neal Signs With Irish
This Author needs to be fired.
"Kiel to Neal" will certainly provide Tom Hammond with some chuckles. But at the rate he's probably getting plastic surgeries, I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't move his face enough to laugh by 2013.
