Hoping Michigan pulls an ND last year, get 18 commitments by mid-September, think they're going to fill up too early, **** the bed to finish the season, and then plateau.

This wouldn't surprise me at all. Alabama is going to enter them dry. OSU, MSU and Notre Dame could all beat them as well.

My bad guys, buddy of mine told me he was reliable. Haha didn't even see the pic, although that tweet did sound plausible though... Sorry to get your hopes up.

Whoa the recruiting insider was right? GB please tell us your source is not the Lil Wayne wanna be.

Michigan is still in there but i think they are running 4th. No I grew up with a kid in Chicago who now writes for Scout on Illinois and he knows the Pocic family. So if i hear anything more ill inform you guys.

I knew is brother played there I just don't see him going there because of that knowing Illinois is horrible, lose the attitude before commenting

no thanks i prefer to keep it.

blood is thick, which makes urban very dangerous for smith on top of the fact it's urban.

Tom VanHaaren @TomVH

For the record, OL Ethan Pocic says he has not come out with a top three, and Michigan is not eliminated. He said, "That's stupid."

Doesn't seem like they're in the running though.

Say Bivin commits before Pocic, and Pocic wants to commit later. Would the staff take 3 guys (Elmer, Bivin, Pocic) that would fit the OT mold? I know the staff is shifting their paradigm for OL but 6'6" and 6'7" seem a little tall for OG. I'm assuming 'yes' considering we lost Decker last cycle and depth is a must, not a luxury.

Looking at you OMM...

I'm no recruiting expert, but yes.

The is no question about it, that they would take Pocic, he's an elite OT. Bivin is a good OT talent but no where near the talent Pocic is.

IMO Elmer and Pocic are 2 of the 3 best OT in this class the other being Laremy Tunsil.

Michigan's got an awesome OL class already but I would take those 2 OT ahead of the guys they got. That said I do wish ND got Bosch because he may be listed as a OT now but he's going to end up as the #1 OG when it's all said and done.

I have a feeling that he'll end up at Illinois. They traditionally have a good oline, his brother starts there, and Beckman has some pretty good recruiters lined up on the staff.

Having said that, if Bivins makes a call then Pocic will probably either jump on board to have a Stanford type class or feel that it's too loaded and look elsewhere.

Either way I hope that if its not ND, he goes Illinois. I went to school there and I want the football team to succeed, even if not as much as ND. And it would keep him away from the greasy Urban Liar fingers.
