But how many 18 year olds really care what their parents think??

We need this kid. Especially after Yuri committed.

Seriously?

See:
Tuitt, Lynch, Ishaq, Shumate, Kiel

If you follow ND recruiting for long enough, a visit with a parent (who likes what it has to offer) to ND is the closest thing to a recruiting "lock" as you'll find.

Edit: Texas Jr. Day might be bigger.

Lol. I can tell he is a good kid by watching his interviews

See, I can relate because if I ever have kids and need a sitter, I'm just going to advertise by saying send me a link to an interview of yourself and I'll be able to judge your character, ethics, and morals based on what you say. Fool proof, right? ;)

All I know is all the politicians I've seen interviewed all seem to be good guys.

seriously?? Can we stop with the prayer pics?? If you want to pray, fine, enough with the damned pics already.

See, this is funny to me. Why on earth are people forsaking the prayer pics? Were we not all on this board for the most miraculous change-of-heart of all time directly following the prayers?

We started the prayer pic vigil and within 24 hours Gunner Kiel changed his mind and came to ND out of nowhere. The #1 QB just magically had a freaking change of heart while getting ready to go to LSU. Then, in the same window of time, Tosh Lupoi left Cal making Arik/Armond virtual ND locks. Then what happened?

People quit on the prayer pictures and immediately afterwards Armond was not cleared to play at ND, which in turn made Arik slow things down and push back his announcement date to consider more schools.

All of this was all one ridiculous master-of-all coincidences... or we need to get this the prayer train rolling again and hope whatever supernatural being we appeased with our offerings was not permanently offended by the lack of faith shown by some on this board. Lack of faith is no laughing matter. Just ask Moses. Guy knocked twice on a stone and got punished to wander around the desert for a couple hundred years. Hardcore.

If you had to put odds on us landing Poole, what would they be? 70%? 50%? 20%?

But what you didn't know is that I was wearing my lucky underwear during that stretch as well and I vowed not to change them until signing day. Sorry to say that my wife finally made me change them around the time that things started falling off. It's all my fault. I will wear my lucky underwear again until signing day, even if my wife kicks me out. Now you all know the real reason things have turned out as they did.

If Travaris Robinson leaves for OSU, 80%. If he stays through signing day, 50%. His father has some extremely pro-ND quotes in the rivals articles. Not sure what ISD has shown, but Rivals seems to have a good relationship with the Pooles.

In-home with Kelly, Alford, Diaco, and Cooks tomorrow - when we already had the best in home up to this point.

Well I just asked Moses and he said it was more like 40 years, give or take. I guess its your word vs. his.

He also suggested that his God was unamused by the pictures of praying otters, pretzelmen, cats, muslims, etc. Moses described God as a jealous-type who did not like to be mocked. Once again, who knows?

In any case, my impression was that while he claims to be a big-time Jewish teacher, Moses would have a hard time getting hired by ND's theology department. He's a real judgmental, letter-of-the-law, fire-and-brimstone type. Culturally insensitive and pretty narrow-minded: "Hebrews are right, Egyptians wrong" kind of thing.

In that case I say we hold off on an offer and wait for a better fit. There's a kid out of Nazareth in the '00 class who's supposed to be the real deal.

PS. Everyone loves praying otters.

That guy is real good, but I've heard he's backing off. Supposedly his mother is feeling ND fans wont give her any love these days. Moses said God and the mom are tight and God might be pushing kids to Michigan and Berkley as punishment (supposedly, He has a poetic sense of justice).

PS: Not everyone...

Sampson brought up on the II board that he has heard RUMORS that Poole is a silent commit. But even though Pete's got a huge (insert word starting with "b" and ending in "oner") for Poole, he's skeptical.

TIFWIW....seriously....do it

We're still ~70 prayer pics short of a commit... so... calling BS on the rumor.

FYI for those that care the visit is now over, it went "well," and the family is in the process of discussing it now. "No decision has been made" per quotes which is a pretty far cry from "committed to Florida."

Probably cause I'm cautiously optimistic and he's the only one who's apparently read the post visit update.

If Poole decommits hopefully he waits until the dead period starts so the Florida coaches won't have a chance to change his mind.
