He's going to the NFL like I've said for ages. San Fran and Denver are both great fits.

The NFL $$$$ will be too much. Further, did you folks see all the empty seats at the Orange Bowl last night. I know that the lack of fan support frustrated Harbaugh this season. He commented in one of his interviews that he was dissapointed that they did not sell out at home with a Top 5 team.

Brady Hoke and plenty of other good coaches out there.

There are zero coaches available that are as good as Harbaugh in my opinion. Hoke, while he seems like a good coach, is no Harbaugh (not saying that you said he was).

This is good news for us Irish fans. I don't care how much you hate Harbaugh or how much confidence you have in Kelly...Harbaugh to UM is bad news for ND.

I hope to God he goes to the NFL so we don't have to watch his teams physically smash us around the field again. That was painful to watch.

Soooo many people i know who are scUM fans think that they are getting Harbaugh. They are so freaking sure of it. They keep saying to me, "Why wouldn't he come coach for his alma mater?" I love having the outside view of scUMs program right now and we aren't blinded by stupidity. Like someone mentioned before. If you were Harbough, would you want to go to coach scUMs program right now? And the answer is Hell No!

I bet that Harbaugh goes to SF and scUM keeps RR.

Anyone else hearing that Michigan has a press conference scheduled for 2pm today?

LSU is poised to make a run at the national title next year. He wouldn't leave for Michigan.

Alma mater soooo never can say never, he sure catches a ton of heat in Baton Rouge. Prolly wouldn't be any better in Ann Arbor, but he catches ridicule for losing and winning ugly from the fan base he's involved with right now. I definitely wouldn't go either, but when home is calling some would find it tough not to answer.

Call me crazy but I really didn't mind the notion of Harbaugh going to Michigan. I still enjoy the rivalry but it's not the same when both teams aren't contenders year in & year out.

Notre Dame needs a strong Michigan. The more they slip into mediocrity, the less the wins mean and lets face it, both teams always play each other tough no matter who is at the helm.

The recent pounding of the Big10 in the bowl games should be of concern to Notre Dame fans as well. We play the Big10 more than any other conference. Unless we start scheduling some SEC teams, somebody will need to bring some live to these Big10 teams or the games will become more & more meaningless.

Partially agree, but I think ND is at the level where if they record a double digit win season they're going to get everything they've been getting the last few years. Plus, just taking a gander at how Kelly is looking to beef up the schedule (2012 is loaded) our s.o.s won't be effected regardless of how good/bad michigan is in the next few years.
