247 update...anyone with access?
Jordan Westerkamp, WR, 6-1, 200, Montini (Lombard, Ill.), Nebraska
The Chicago Tribune Player of the Year made 78 catches for 1,673 yards and an astounding 29 touchdowns.
Will be visited by ND coaches Friday and make a decision over the weekend. Looks like we should pick up two 4players by 1/9.
Because he loves Nebraska also and wants to take his time to make sure he makes the best decision for himself.Maybe it's already been posted, but is there a reason Jordan didn't flip sooner and is still committed to NB? It just seems odd to me that everyone and their brother believes he'll flip to ND and that it's only a matter of time...so what is he waiting on? I believe as much as anyone that his flip is only a matter of time...but I'm just curious why it hasn't happened sooner?

I would be more worried if I were Nebraska fan. I agree that waiting this much time after a visit is usually telling. However, going this long without re-affirming a commitment is more telling, imo.
i believe the only thing that will potentially deter him from ND is the fact that we have 3 WR commits already; im not saying he is scared of competition or anything silly like that, but im sure it is on his mind...
indeed, it seems like a no-brainer for ND and i feel confident he will come.
my post above is outlining essentially the ONLY reason i could see why he would stick with nebraska. our current class (3 WR) compared to their current class (1 WR; him); at nebraska he can start from day 1, at ND that is certainly possible, but not as likely.
I understand your point.
While Nebraska's WR recruits are fewer, at ND Mr. Westerkamp could certainly compete and challenge for very early PT his freshman year....
That being said, I hope I'm wrong. But Nebraska has a ton to offer.

Not that'd meet your ROI standards, of course.
I'm genuinely curious what JK thinks are Nebraska's high points.
They don't offer an appealing climate, location, or lots of attractive coeds. Their Football ROI is in the bottom 13% of the BCS. And their program is mired in mediocrity within a mediocre conference.
What am I missing?

Oh yeah WJ, he's white. So no need in quoting the whiteboy version of the statistics since whiteboys are really "mongrels," that is they hail from too many nations and backgrounds to be considered worthy a decent statistic based on background...
