You mean where he'll get PAID for his job anywhere from mid 6 figures to 7 figures? And where they have indoor practice facilities? And in the winter time, when his season is over, he can move back to Florida?

If I can essentially go anywhere in the United States to play football and get a free education for college, then why wouldn't I pick a place exactly to my liking?

College kids don't get paid???!!!! Now I'm confused ;)

Pete Sampson's II podcast today mentioned Poole. He's still not convinced that Poole is solid with Florida. He still thinks that ND has a good chance at flipping him. TIFWIW

Very low probability he becomes part of this class. But it's possible.

Sadly I agree. Don't see it happening, but I'd love to be wrong.

Part of that fascination is that Poole's parents like ND and that usually plays well, but I agree, this feels like another Treggs.

Like's ND but is in love with another

I'll tell you 70 in the winter is great 99 with 125% humidity from June thru October sucks, especially in pads.

yes...yes absolutely agree. plus we're indoors for the majority of our winter/spring so big deal you can walk to class in the snow ;)

I agree. I was just passing along what I heard. I didn't know Sampson was hooked on Poole so much. It makes sense. I just figured someone that close to the program would have let go of it by now and found it intriguing that he hasn't. From his other podcasts, he seems like a pretty rational guy. Either way I'm not holding my breath.

A poster on II asked the staff and the 2 well-connected posters about Poole today. One feels ND has a chance and is hearing good things. Still waiting to get in touch with a source that knows Florida recruiting. A green light from this source would be a great sign. Just like my post on Darby, TIFWIW.

Of course ND has a chance because his parents like ND and would like him to go there. As long as any parent is on our side we always, "have a chance."

Yuri and Shumate would be my preference. Love Poole as a player, but getting two of those Bosco boys and opening that pipeline would pay dividends well beyond the two stud DBs we would be landing. Best DB haul in the nation this year, on the heels of the best DL class last year.

Per sampson we are still very much in play and Alford is making it hard for Brian to say no.

Bryan Driskell is saying the same thing. Alford is making it a difficult decision because of the strong relationship he has developed, despite Poole referring to Florida as his "dream school."

Give Alford a raise! Just like Lynch is a beast on the field, Alford is a beast at recruiting.
