Believe me I want the kid to commit for sure but I'm comfortable with where we are QB wise. If we don't land Gunner and Fuller falls into our lap I'd be amped too.

First post in this thread but I have been reading it for the past year. 2 of the 3 things he is looking for we clearly beat out LSU in which is education and proximity to home. Depth chart is a toss. I am just going by some of the 2700 posts and I think in the end family connections and ND win out over LSU and Vandy.

Gunner said a couple days ago that he would decide before Christmas. This is the last day before Christmas. If he doesn't decide today, that means it's anyone's guess when he will decide and it could be as late as January 7th at the Army AA game.

To Piombino, this all comes from a quote from Gunner himself earlier this week, so I wouldn't call it speculation. If we don't hear anything for the next 9 hours it means the decision schedule he announced didn't hold.

I guess Gunner really meant it when he said he hasn't made up his mind, it will be a gut feeling. As taxing as this process is at least he's being thorough.

Say what you will but this kid has tons of pressure on him in picking a school. Imagine being a 18 and having to make a decision like this ( its a good tough decision). I say we just wait and see, nothing we can do but wait. I really do applaud the kid for being smart about his decision making.......but i would really enjoy if he chose the irish. GO ND!

It would certainly appear that way... which isn't good with ND's likely horrendous offensive performance against FSU and LSU about to play for a national championship....

Yes. He himself said that he would be making a decision before Christmas. That is a quote from Gunner at the Mr. Football ceremony at his school. That does not look like it is going to happen now.

At the absolute latest, he should make a decision by January 7th at the Army AA game... but hypothetically he could drag this out all the way up until ~January 15th. I strongly doubt that happens though.

On Topic: I spoke with two farmers today. They saw an eagle flying with a serpent clutched in its talons. This is a sign from Apollo. We will win a great Kiel victory tomorrow.
