Interesting evalutions of this kid. MaxPreps has him a First Team AA WR with Greenberry and DGB while 247 has him as their #78 WR, Scout and ESPN each dropped him a couple of slots to #104 and #220 respectively, and Rivals has him as a NOT RANKED WR.

That is because MaxPreps is garbage. They also have Yuri Wright and Shumate's teammate, Kyle Sakowski, as a 2nd team all-America (along with Shaq Thompson). Yuri and Elijah are not all-Americans. Nothing against Sakowski, but he is sporting a bunch of CAA offers and Yuri and Elijah are 4 guys.
