Before his visit we were sitting on the outside looking in. I will take 2nd slightly behind Stanford with 6.5 weeks to go.

Hopefully he keeps in contact with Stanley...

S/o to @ronnie_stanley making his college choice today! Someone is gaining a first round draft pick today!

I don't think that's gonna be a problem.

A Husky Honk from Dawgman.com (UW's Scout.com site) said on a Seattle sports radio talk show yesterday, that Garnett had yet to confirm a visit to the hometown school, despite the fact that his father played for the Dawgs. His feeling was that Garnett was going to commit elsewhere unless he suddenly decided to take an on-campus visit. I hope this bodes well for ND. IMO, it's a ND-Stanford battle.

hahahahahaha

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I feel so vindicated for my rants against Michigan's "recruiting prowess." They took advantage of a bad depth chart and a coach-less/down Ohio State. THAT'S IT!!! Look at the actual dudes they have committed!!! They have a total of ONE decent recruit outside of the Midwest (and he's pretty darn good prospect, but still... one dude).

Michigan DOES NOT appeal to Stefon Diggs, etc. regardless of whatever dumbass Michigan fans put on the internet. And the fact that they are fading with a guy they've had as much time with as Garnett is a JOKE and a testament to where they stand in the grand pecking order of things.

DISCLAIMER: Wouldn't be surprised if he still ended up at Michigan. But as my Upshot for the Rest of the Class thread already stated, it's a wide open race. Surprised to hear they've fallen to 3rd though... wow.

I'd be shocked if he left the west coast. Our best chance to land him is if Stanford lands Murphy and others and their OL class fills up.

I just don't want Michigan to land this kid.

In recruiting, the only thing that I love more than getting a big commitment is beating Michigan for a big commitment. I live in Ann Arbor and I'm tired of hearing about how awesome their class is. Good luck recruiting Ohio next year with Urban Meyer at the helm.

I think with Stanley and Decker in the fold, Garnett would move to Guard. That may just be me though.
