I know we as ND fans are usually the ones defending Navy and their credentials...but this is not like losing to Western Michigan or some other crap team in CFB.

We had two bad turnovers, didn't score at the goal line and lost by 18 points. It's ****ing growing pains people.

No coach, university, team, cheerleading staff, parents, fans, recruits...can justify that farce of a display this joke of a team showed today.

Thats what its gonna be. ND will be LUCKY to win 3 games in 2012. Great idea to add Oklahoma and Miami for 2012. Maybe they should drop Navy and add Alabama......Oh wait, Navy beats ND every year. Lets drop Purdue and add Alabama instead so they can get another loss. JOKE!

This is growing pains. It will take time for Kelly to recruit his type of players. Smaller faster lineman, a QB who can run and throw. Defensive lineman who can get off blocks and tackle somebody. IMO Dayne Crist has taken several steps back. He makes absolutely poor decisions. He hasn't read a defense all year and his mobility is average at best. Those interceptions today was a matter of failing to read the defense. Let's not forget Navy had something to do with this. They whipped our *** up front on both sides of the ball. This was embarrassing because we were man-handled today.

A lot of things would have to go perfect in order for that to happen. We have along way to go before we start talking about championships. I'd love to laugh with you in 2014 and I'll hold onto my optimism as well, but Im reluctant to make that call. It will have a lot to do with how this staff developes their recruits.

I won't drag this out. Was joking about the home, but not the rest. If I told you that I listened on the radio to the Iowa Preflight game and others, would you believe me. I did, and want to say in my memory, this was the most unprepared team I have seen. This offense was not new, since this coach and previous had used. Maybe the coaches were unprepared, but some of those seniors etc. have seen it..........Go Phillies!

well, i think this year is full of growing pains. the bummer was the rash of injuries for this game. we were depleted big time and that impacted morale, but we still should've seen a better effort all around. this stings bad, but you have to keep at it and keep getting better. that's as optimistic as i can be right now.

thats just it...we're not getting better...i know we have some critical injuries, but seriously the reserves in the 4th quarter looked just as good as the starters...this is one of the most boring games i have ever watched...it looked as though they didn't give a **** what happened...but we're no better than we were to start the season

Err, Cincy ran through 5 QBs at one point last year or the year before. Its not just about putting up 50 points a game, its all the in between stuff. Oh yah, and the defense.
