Can we just lock down the Gunner thread until something REAL happens. The speculation, rumors, analysis, guesswork and BS on this thread is approaching insanity!! There are now over 142 pages of comments on here and we could fit all the facts and real info on about 2 pages.

I follow recruiting as much or more than the next guy, but rarely comment anymore because it is all NUTS. Further, many nasty comments and rumors are read by recruits.

Wow, I've been thinking this for the past 2 weeks re: Kiel. I don't have much time to post currently but thought I would come out of semi-retirement to 100% completely agree with this post!

I tried to not even look at this thread for 2 weeks but find it extremely difficult to avoid it, only to read about what he had for dinner on his OV and how the OC at UF affects Kiel's status. Ugh, insanity just about covers it!

BK mentioned on his radio show that ALL EE's are taken care of for ND and that who will be an EE will be known by the end of the week.

Wonder if that would include Gunner?

I would assume its an admission timeline of some sort. So I would think so. Just my $.02

And Kelly seemed to be really happy when he was talking about how everyone who follows recruiting will know who all is EE'ing by the end of the week.

Ok so it sounds really positive but lets be honest it could be another recruit that he feels good about. Any other guesses?

Dream case- Gunners coming, but the "mystery" EE that we will find out about at the end of this week plays basketball is the top recruit on Scout.com and will join the basketball team shortly. No names named hehe, no facts just speculation, but just my dream possibility

B&G has stated that there is a current commit now that might be EE'ing. However, they dont want to make it public yet because they have yet to sort it out. B&G staff has stated that it is NOT Gunner. This story came out a couple months ago.

To make sure I understand correctly, according to BK's comments today, if Gunner is coming to ND then we will know one way or the other by the end of the week?

LSU has a truly legit shot because he and his family came on an unofficial, didn't want to leave, were forced to leave per NCAA rules, went back to Indiana, turned around and came right back for an official. That pretty much speaks for itself, and we're only competing with 2 other schools at this point.

The whole knowing who all the EE's will be by the end of the week strikes me as odd. At this time last year, ND didn't have all of it's EE's committed. Lynch didn't switch until right before classes started. When did Ishaq finally commit?

Something tells me that if Kiel or Armstead want to be enrolled at ND come January, the staff will take them still even if they say yes after the end of this week.

We've got room for 6, and we're not close to filling all those spots yet.

Went on a couple Pitt sites and some saying Chad Voyik will likely flip to Vandy(I guess they were number two) with Graham leaving. Here is to hoping they are correct.

Every time a coach leaves for a new job, it seems to help us somehow.

Would be nice to see Voyik make that move sooner than later.
