I'm not sure what was unclear. According to Rivals, after leaving ND on Friday he DID NOT visit anywhere. It appears that he will not make any more visits (always apt to change) and it's going to be a Vandy/ND battle. In my mind it's going to really come down to where he feels the most comfortable and most wanted. If the ND coaches recruit him hard, he probably ends up here. If not, Vandy.

Hmm. As the number one qb prospect in the country any coach would want him but I wonder if the desperation factor with Vandy might not be a tipping point. Obviously ND isn't a power at this point but Vandy never has been....maybe the fact that they feel like they're building something there and he could be a huge help to them might drive them to push harder than ND. Which is not to say ND isn't pushing hard but Kelly might not feel that he's up against a wall with Golson and Hendrix there, at least subconsciously.

Which signs would those be? As far as I can ascertain those close to Kiel are keeping pretty tight lipped as he evaluates the universities in which he is most interested. No doubt Notre Dame is being given very serious consideration, but I personally have seen nothing except pure assertion indicating he has made his decision.

What size school is this? The only time I have seen stands this small is at six man school (schools that graduate like 10 a semester) here in TEXAS. Also hes got some really good recievers!

Columbus East had a really easy schedule. Regardless he's still a fantastic QB and I hope he's Irish. Level of competition shouldn't matter when discussing Gunner.

Most of the rest of the country play high school football with regular high school facilities, which usually don't involve 60,000 capacity stadiums. Texas chooses to use all of their education funds to build huge stadiums for their football teams while completely ignoring the fact that their schools consistently rank in the lower half of the country. You must not watch a lot of prospect clips, otherwise you would already known this. Take a look at Darby's highlights if you want to see some poor facilities, they practically play in a cow pasture.

Second of all, Kiel's receivers are not good. I don't know what you are seeing that other aren't.

Actually I think Vandy's a much better choice than LSU, and I think it's comparable to ND. Obviously football tradition doesn't compare, but Vandy's trying to start something with their new coach. Academically they're on the same level, and Nashville's a better place to live than South Bend.
