Grace’s favorite part of the experience was the opportunity to play with future teammates Brad Carrico, Eilar Hardy, and Kyle Brindza. “It was a blast playing with them,” Grace exclaimed. “Just to see their skill and see how we might gel in the future. We put an Irish decal on our helmets, which was cool. Brad brought them down there for us.”
“The young corners are getting better, Brown and Atkinson,” Kelly said. “I really like the way they’re progressing. (And Mike linebacker) Jarrett Grace.”
Jarrett Grace is going to be an absolute stud at ND. Write it down, in pen.

“He’s going to be awesome, he really is,” Diaco said, gushing with praise for his freshman linebacker. “He’s a werewolf, he really is. He’s got it all. Smart, big, tough, aggressive, fast, demonstrative, communicator, he’s going to be a beast.”
Diaco continued to heap praise on Grace without any prodding.
“It’s because he’s got the whole package,” continued the Notre Dame linebackers coach. “He’s aggressive, nasty, loves football, loves this place (Notre Dame), demonstrative communicator, runs fast, large body, hard worker.”
Did he play any downs this past season?
Did he play any downs this past season?
Nope. Red shirt.
I like that. I feel like Diaco's going to let some dogs off the chain next year.
I wonder what these numbers are now? Below are listed on front page while in HS.
Ht: 6-4
Wt: 240
40: 4.6
Bench Max: 300
Squat Max: 550
He was still listed as 240 at the start of fall camp. I imagine by the time spring rolls around that he'll have added some weight.
Agree. Not sure I'd want Grace to get any heavier. Size hasn't been a problem for our LB corps, but speed has.
