Good luck kid, I don't think we will see him for 1-2 years needs to add serious bulk for SEC competition plus it is an already congested back field.... But dreams are dreams and im not knocking him for pursuing them....

Even if he didn't go to Georgia he wasn't coming here. Hence, dropping us before decision date.

I thought he was ND all the way! He completely fooled me. From what I was reading the feeling was mutual for being at the top of the list. Darn you Keith Marshall you little trickster.

Question.

If you are a stud like Marshall, and know where you want to go early, why not committ early and then help recruit for your team?

This always gets to me. Everyone says how they want to win a championship and do anything to help the team, but obviously this isn't true.

Take Peyton Manning, guy has made over 100 million in his career before the last contract and states that all he wants to do is win another Super Bowl. But then signs a HUGE deal and makes it impossible for his team to get him any help.

Why not take the league minimum if all you really want to do is win, so your team can sign other good players?

I guess, from a guy who pays to play sports(softball), it just seems backward to me.

No one knows when he actually committed. He just came public with it but could have committed a long time ago. So when the coaches go to recruit they could inform the other kids they are recruiting that Marshall is in fact aboard already.

well when it comes to millions of dollars and collective bargaining agreements you cant really take a huge paycut. It's illegal. In the real world its called dumping.

He said in the live coverage (after the announcement) that he called Coach Richt at 1:45. That was approximately two hours before he announced.

Dude.. You need to step up your game. Our class is extremely athletic right now and we're not even close to being done.. stop with the nonsense.

Seriously. Just because he was delusional enough to think he was coming to ND (when the entire world was telling irishtrinity that he was going to Georgia) doesn't mean ND did something wrong. YOU did something wrong, trinity, by listening to your heart instead of your mind. It was more shocking that some people thought we had a legit chance as late as 2 weeks ago, when in fact the 2nd Richt got off the hot seat Marshall was a Bulldog. The wait was just a dog and pony show...

LA is exactly right about this. He's wanted UGA all along, but with Richt being on the hot seat this year and uncertainty surrounding the staff, KM, as he should have, kept all options open to him.
