Perkins is a DOG linebacker in Diaco's schemes. He was great defending pass receivers in the 7x7s. Speed and aggression. Losing him, if we do, loses a good one.

An off-the-wall thought: if David is a clever fellow, he may realize that his chances for several top-quality experiences are significantly enhanced by the hosting schools believing that he is uncommitted. Just a thought.....

If Day goes with him, Schutt laughs in our faces and we are screwed. Also hurts with 2013 guys in state. We need to set a pattern of keeping in state talent, in state.

My guess is academics...I heard this back in August from an uncle who works at ND. It's not helping our chances either that ND can beat up on the Navy's and not the USC's. We gotta win against the big boys. Best of luck to David and hopefully he sticks with ND.

Not that i am trying to be negiative but we are moving foward with some other recruits. It sucks when you lose a guy but Kelly and the gang will go get someone else that will take his place and will help this team greatly.

It wasn't that long ago that this program was casually losing to Navy, Syracuse, and Tulsa.

At least, for the first time in years, the Irish are starting to blow out the teams that they are better than.
