Anyone heard of this? .... Seen in a ND facebook group today someone saw this on Blue & Gold today but doesn't know the validity of it.

I trust IE's members and their knowledge of most things.... So if its true im sure one of you has heard something of it.....

Transferring mid-season would be pointless. If Crist goes anywhere, it will be as a graduate student so he doesn't have to sit out a year.

Smells like bullsh!t to me, personally. Russell Wilson languished at NC State, transferred to Wiscy as a 5Y and immediately vaulted into Heisman consideration. Dayne Crist is languishing at ND, and Wiscy will need a new QB next year, so...

Fake rumor is fake.

I was promised by my parents that Christ is everywhere, Wisconsin included.

Not to pile on, but...

If Christ is on our bench, and Kelly has refused to play him, I will join the chorus for him to be fired.

Is Wisconsin becoming a Catholic school now? Would be crazy if Christ comes back to Earth and joins the Badgers would be a slap in the face of Notre Dame.

But in reality I Crist will probably transfer and probably to a non spread team like Wisconsin.

Kidding aside...I did hear a rumor he was thinking of transferring to Florida. It would make sense with Weis there.I think he could step right in there.

He heard Alvarez was thinking of coming back to coach the D...knows this would be his last shot to play for him...

I would have guessed that if Christ ever joined a football team, it would be Notre Dame, but who knows? Maybe he favors cheese?

He may offer competition but won't step right in. They have two pretty good QB's in Brantley and Driskel.

We were talking about this before the game on Saturday. Stanford came up as a potential option. Thoughts?

Stanford? I would be all for it, so long as they promise to play him when we're there in November.

To be fair, Christ was skinny. Not sure he could take a shot from a Big Ten DL.

Would need some time with Longo.

I hope your referring to Crist and not Christ.

Referring to the poster I quoted who was talking about Crist.

As of right now though I have yet to see Christ play a game of football, so I still have to stand by Rees.

That was hoisted here in righteous indignation right after the USF game.

Christ can pass right through a crowd of men without anyone putting a hand on him, and I strongly suspect that he can hurl an object like a lightning bolt if he wants. . Sounds like the perfect spread QB to me
