What's missing in your life that you need to ATTEMPT to make people feel bad for voicing their opinions (on a public forum I might add)? Are you the b*tch at work? Or maybe just at home? Either way, do yourself a favor and keep out of my business unless it's constructive. All you've done since you've become a mod is bully people. I would venture to say that not ONE person on this forum deserves that from you, except for maybe the non-Irish trolls. Amazing how the most irrelevant stuff can lead to a complex. Check the mirror, bud- YOU'RE A MOD ON A FAN SITE!

Actually, I disagree...YOU deserve it, with your (wrong) posts the past few days and then your personal attacks. So, from the 'big bad bully', enjoy your vacation. And when you come back...do better man. Think before you post. You've been a mess this past few days (and ripping OMM who was trying to help??? Should've banned you then LOL). Peace.

Back to Treggs...the team I coach had a tournament at his high school (St. John Bosco) a couple weeks ago, and I struck up a conversation with one of the part-time coaches there. There was and is a lot of support at his school for him to go to ND, but the pull of his father's alma mater and the fact that he's really close with their QB commit made Cal the choice. One of my former students plays basketball there and says Bryce is a good guy, kinda cocky when he's with his boys, but a good kid overall.

(A quick aside, one of my current 6th grader's older brother goes to Bosco, so she goes to all their games. We had 'boast' as one of the vocab words on our reader, and she immediately thought of Bryce Treggs after he scores a TD LOL. I told her that was called 'swagger'.)

And he CAN play. Other coaches game-plan solely around him and he still makes plays. I'd love to get him, but we're fighting an uphill battle here.

Not a fan of that "swagger" thing.

I watched Treggs in that 7x7 [because I was trying to watch our own guys], but the performance he put on losing those DBs he was going up against fixated you on his talent. Because this is a test of WR vs DB play, wherein the QB has to chuck it in a certain number of seconds, I think that [except that there are no pads] that it's a pretty fair indicator of talent. I'll be stunned if Treggs isn't dangerous in college.

He's a stud. Going to be unstoppable lining up with Greenberry and Agholor on the sides.

If this happens I would completely lose my ****. It would be one of the most talented receiving corps ever assembled. Can you imaging lining up with three Michael Floyd caliber WR every down?

@Jake_Brown what's the weather like in south bend next weekend?

Jake Brown
@BryceTreggs Right now looks like sunny, highs in the mid-to-upper 50s. Pretty good stuff for the Midwest in fall.

BryceTreggs
@Jake_Brown so I should dress pretty warm

Jake Brown
@BryceTreggs Yep. It'll be a little cooler than SoCal, for sure. But at least it's not going to snow.

BryceTreggs
@Jake_Brown man I wish ND was in California.

Jake Brown
@BryceTreggs Ha. I bet you're not the only one to think that over the years.

California isn't going anywhere, however, your college years will be over before you know it.

Ditto. Can't knock a kid for wanting to play/live in warm weather. Sure they'll have to play in cold places in the NFL. Difference is they get to choose what college they play for. They don't chose which team drafts them.

If ND were in CA or FL imagine how well we could recruit? We have consistent top 10 classes already in snowy IN

I agree our recruiting would be insane, but we have had recruits claim to like playing in the cold.

Well for me I'm ecstatic to have it only 2 hours away from me.

Recruiting could be better if it was in Cali ---- given the history and tradition came with it.

But if you are looking at having ND in Cali from the get-go there would have been absolutely no history or tradition...probably no Knute Rockne...no 4 Horsemen...No National Champions.....it would have been just like Stanford and you guys pry wouldn't be ND fans....but I am taking it to the extreme of thinking...

Shut up all you Cali surfer boys. Why don't you break off and go hang out with Hawaii already?

Just tweeted:

I'm on national TV right now. #winning

Someone needs to remind him that Notre Dame is on national TV every week and then list the number of times Cal has been on this decade.

The priests that founded Notre Dame intended to found it in San Diego, but they got snowed in at Indiana. Or so the story goes.

The story, as I remember it from way back in 1970, was that Father Sorin and his intrepid troupe were on their way to California from the east coast to establish a Catholic university when winter set in and travel became impossible when they arrived in South Bend. They opted to stay there until the weather cleared ...

Embellish as you will.

[Prospective students: it's an exaggeration (kinda, sorta, for the most part – really) for humorous effect. Don't believe a word of it.]
