Planning an unofficial visit for sometime in August per BGI
Planning an unofficial visit for sometime in August per BGI
This is one of my favorite recruits as well. My favorite two are B Marshall and Mahone. This is really good news too. It's nice that he is taken an unofficial to Notre Dame because for me that shows a real genuine interest on his part. Hope he gets the visit in and has a great time!
I like him over Keith to be honest. A lot of talent!
Brandon Marshall and Sarah Marshall?
Forget about her.
My gut says he commits to .us on his visit
My favorite RB in this class. Probably not as good as the other Marshall, but I think we have a better shot at landing Byron. Absolutely huge that he is flying all the way out from CA on his own dime to see what ND has to offer. He won't commit on the trip, but this news puts up squarely in the ballgame with him...
Question, and I am not trying to be a jerk, i'm honestly curious..... why do many of you think that its a long-shot for him to commit on his visit? Was there something that he said before that makes you dudes feel this way?
Bryon is saying that if the unofficial goes well, then he will set up an official. That hardly sounds like someone who would commit on the unofficial.
I think it's just well deserved skepticism/doubt.

Everything i have read says he wants to decide late in the game and be thorough.
San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian running back Byron Marshall is in the process of setting up official visits with fall just around the corner. Sitting comfortably with a couple of Pac-12 schools and Notre Dame at the top his list, Marshall received what he described as a "dream offer" this Wednesday, a scholarship offer to play football for the USC Trojans.
