Niklas is getting a first look at OLB because (1) it's arguably the most important position in Diaco's scheme; and (2) it requires a rare level of athleticism to do well. Best case scenario would see Niklas excel at the CAT so he can share reps with Ishaq in 2012 and beyond.

Failing that, I think he ends up at DE. If we take 4 OL this cycle (very possible), we'll have 15 for 2012, which is solid. Niklas' athleticism and our need for depth points toward him staying on defense.

Anymore, I am not sure any verbal should be considered SOLID for any kid. I can't remember the exact number, but there were like HUNDREDS of kids who committed and de-committed last year. Get ready for 2012 to be even wilder.
