I think we should totally offer this guy and get him to visit. :)

I think he is a good player.

Would anyone have a problem getting this kid if he waits until after NSD?

At the time, I don't believe any of us would have complained if Seantrel Henderson had committed to ND after signing day. We should NEVER turn elite talent walk away without a good reason no matter what time of the year it is.

Players like Randy Moss, Greg Olsen, etc being the exceptions...

Somehow I just don't see DGB coming to ND though.

I guess it depends on the kid. If a kid wants to make the decision on his own schedule, that is fine with me. It is an important decision for a young person. They don't have an obligation to college football fans to make that decision on the fans' timetable.

Guys can sign after NSD. That's just the 1st day they can make it official, and with football recruiting being so long and drawn out, that's when almost all the players send in their letter of intent.

Look at the track record of kids signing after NSD. Not good. Not saying at all DGB is like that, but just saying, it's not been good.

Like I said, depends on the kid. Maybe some kids do it for the wrong reason, but waiting isn't "wrong" per se.

Also, NSD isn't a "deadline," it's the earliest date a recruit can sign a LOI.

DGB is not a look at me kid. Clearly if he was then his recruitment would be more open ala Keith Marshall lol. Remember his brother is battling for his life...in this case i would not go as far as saying he is looking for attention by waiting until after NSD. Theres more factors going into his decision than football with him.

Great Read if you have a few mins...

I remember reading this and a couple of other articles last year. This is a real GOOD kid. I remember reading about him last year and thinking to myself that this kid was simply amazing. This kid definently does not seem like a media/attention whore that so many kids are these days. This kid has an amazing life story and is truly a special young man. I wish this kid the best no matter where he ends up. He seems like a well grounded kid that has been and continues to go through alot of adversity. It just so happens that he is one of the most athletically gifted kids to come out of high school in a long time. Let him take his time and view all of his options before he decides on going anywhere.

Prudent to visit now while the school still has a football program.

"Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, 6-6, 220, Springfield, Mo. (Hillcrest)

It looks like Notre Dame is putting all its eggs in Zeke Motta’s father’s basket. Bill Motta and John Beckham, who adopted Dorial, were in each other’s weddings. I sat down with Dorial and John in January and academics are going to play a big role, and John will have a lot to say in where Dorial lands. They kept stressing the academic part, which means it could play right into Notre Dame’s hands."

I, honestly, thought that was an old article! WTF, does have so many side ventures going on that he has forgot to do his homework on current recruiting?? I know the guy is pro ND but that's ridiculous!! Maybe he still thinks we have a shot at Blake Leuders?!?

Alford recruiting Agholor isnt a bad thing lol. I dont think we would get him, but with that said with what happened last year I wouldnt ever say no till he signs.

As far as DGB, I think it will be very telling when he lists/takes his officials. In my opinion and some others, ND is not a great player here at the moment.

Greenberry blowing up camps the last 4 months is also something that really doesnt make me salty about not being in it with DGB. We arent at the point where we can choose WRs/RBs yet. As good as the offense played at times last year, there were times it looked like a high school offense. All part of the new system, etc...but as a WR/RB I would def want to see what takes place year 2.
