Reading the tea leaves I gather that ND gained ground when we made it clear that French would get a shot at WR. I'm fairly certain thats what he comes in as if he's Irish.

Yes he could be a dream safety. Yes he could be a legend at WR (if he has the hands/concentration). Yes he could be a human highlight reel at OLB. Yes he could grow into a scary TE specimen. He could play and make a big difference in any of those spots. It all depends on how he develops.

This kid has the potential to be just about anything you can imagine and this staff is the right group to steer him to the right position and develop him into an absolute beast.

I want this kid at ND bad! I will do my touchdown dance if he picks ND on Thursday...I think the signs are positive that he will.

I'm starting to get a good feeling for him as well. I agree this kid could play a variety of positions and it is just dependent on where he fits in best. 6'6 safety or receiver is a fun thought. The kid is an athlete and will develop nicely with the BK coaching staff. Come to ND Christian!!!! You won't regret it!

according to the lovely ESPN French likely will announce this week whether he's selected the Fighting Irish or the Hawkeyes.
NO mention of Oregon

If ^ this is true and its only between ND and Iowa, I have a very good feeling he picks up the Irish hat tomorrow~

Does anyone know of there will be any way to see his commitment live? Is he even having a "press conference"?

I think he's choosing ND. They're the only school showing the flexibility of coming in as a WR.

Also, I'm thinking that his parents are not big fans of that Iowa WR that was a senior captain that was caught with drugs. Talk about a black eye to your program.

Obviously, he could choose Oregon due to their recent success. Is their winning going to become a trend?

This would be a huge get for us - we're rapidly moving towards a team of freak athletes, giants who are fast and can play multiple positions and we just figure out how to use them. Throw in an athletic QB, a solid line and everything should work out.

If we perform on the field next year then this program is going to be well on it's way back to prominence.

According to ESPN yes, it is down to just ND and Iowa, however, anybody who is not affiliated with ESPN knows Oregon is in the mix too.
This reminds me of when ESPN put out the story that Worley was down to ND and LSU....and chose Tennessee.

French has done a good job of hiding which way he's leaning....but I would say that the Oregon fans appear to be the most confident and that the Iowa fans are damn near convinced that there's no way he's staying in state.

Kelly will not leave Oregon. Awesome facilities, lots of support, national championship caliber team. Ain't happening. Dan Mullen to Florida.

French to either ND or Iowa

Probably so but they are losing a lot of starters, especially on the the OL and DL's and recruiting class coming in next year is only #22 so far.
