Cierre is going to be a stud. he basically sat out a year and was put back on the field. There were bright spots with him and remember like someone said, he was only a freshman this year. Only going to improve from here.....sky is the limit for this kid.

I am not feeling it....that Savon comes to ND. Just my hunch based on what I read....hope I am wrong.
I think Huggins likes ND alot....but my hunch is that the reason he's adding all these new schools is that he wants to play in a more "rb-friendly" offense w/o actually going to a terrible team like Rutgers.

I think he thought Theo was to important so he didnt put him back their. As a Eagles fan I see that Desean Jackson only takes back punts when they need a jolt of offense or are losing. I am not saying he is that good but he has shown flashes.

Armando Allen was back there returning punts for us and I would say he was pretty important.

"Huggins has not committed to college, but has narrowed his list to seven. He has made official visits to Notre Dame and North Carolina and has scheduled visits to Wisconsin and Rutgers. His fifth official will be to USC, Tennessee or Auburn. "

Wisconsin is interesting...Honestly if I was a RB I would want to go there...would pick up huge yards behind that oline and could be in heisman contention.

They have 6 backs that could return next year including Clay(JR), Ball(SO), and White(FR). They also have one committ for 2011 as well.

This is true, but as we have seen this year they have used three backs heavily. Plus Huggins would be the most highly regarded backs of the bunch. Plus the women at Wisconsin aren't bad at all ;)

The talent of Montee Ball is tremendous! He is going to break out huge as soon as Clay is gone. I really doubt any true freshman will be able to come in and slide into the 1 or 2 spot at Wisconsin. He just needs to sign with ND and get it over with... GO IRISH!!

Hopefully Savon takes issue for playing for a school with a rodent as the mascot.

I think Huggins should be ND's #1 target on offense to land for the 2011 class. I like everything I've read about this kid and he seems like an awesome running back, but the college game is much different from high school. I'd love to land Huggins and if we do he will need to earn that spot away from Wood next year. Wood got better and better each game.

i hope that he does come here he could be a huge upgrade over our running backs now. And he would help the passing game when you have him Cam and Golson on the field at the dame time how do you not put 6 or 7 guys in the box.

Wisconsin has picked up a RB commit who flipped from Iowa. I wonder if that will have an effect on the Huggins planned OV to Madison.

i dont think its as crucial to get him as it is other position in this years class. if we strike out on him and wood has a huge year next year. theres alot of highly touted rb recruits next year that will make huggins look average after there senior seasons. and i know competition breads better players but we need those better players at other positions

I'd be ecstatic to land him... but I think I want Carlisle even more. Carlisle is such a good fit for this offense and on some recruiting services not ranked very far behind Huggins.

I feel we will get one of the two, or should I say we need one of the two. There will always be a spot for Mr. Huggins on NSD, but if Carlisle pops first he does become less important. On our big board for 2011 the defense is a priority - DE + OLB + S
