I believe it’s a new practice facility to replace the Gug.

The original Rudy/gameday locker room is just a stop on the stadium tour. The players have been using a different one for years.

You are right that it's a Gug replacement, but the stadium (gameday) locker room is still used on gamedays as it was in Rudy's time. It has been renovated since then, but it is in the same physical location on the west side of the main stadium tunnel.

Ive never taken the tour, but I watched a video where the “original” locker room was next to the new modern one. I think they walk through it to the stairs. I think it was the Busing With the Boys podcast.

I could be remembering it wrong though.

Hate the patch... But $20 more million annually? If that directly contributes to ND landing 5 more top 100 players each year, sign me the hell up.

Nobody is going to care about a patch if it's being worn by ND teams winning Nattys.

The NHL moved to this model a couple years back and fans hated it at first. Now nobody even cares and I don't think most fans even recognize that they exist on the uniform. They're just back to being focused on the game.
