I’m glad someone else mentioned it,… I have three notable scars, one on my lower left side from a crowbar, one on the bottom of my chin and a large defensive scar on the bottom of my left wrist all because I had the sheer audacity to be born in a Mexican American neighborhood and live through the 94 World Cup, I was my daughters age then and these scars were given to me by grown ass men. I’ll take great joy whenever they get knocked out of this thing. Hating England is cute,… this one ain’t cute or fun or ‘sports’, it’s way beyond that.
A lot of people on this board were pearl clutching over ND fans jaw jacking with a few USC players in the game last year, they couldn't even fathom the shit that Mexico fans get up to.

Haaland is such a beast. My favorite soccer player ever. A goal scoring machine. 62 goals for Norway in 54 games is unbelievable. Row the fucking boat and beat the shit out of either England or Mexico!

Also, shoutout to Neymar talking mad shit while he's setting up for a penalty shot 9 minutes into the 7 minutes of stoppage time down 2-0 having done nothing in the 20 or so minutes he was out there.

It was the perfect Neymar moment. Peak Neymar.

I’m happy he’s playing and I don’t feel it should have been a red card in the first place but that is corrupt AF!!
The Belgium coach quote is hilarious and understandable.
"I didn't know that at the World Cup the 5th of July is actually the first of April. It's April Fools Day!

What has happened to Brazillian soccer? I've heard people say that Germany killed it when they humiliated them 7-1 at home. It's been 24 years without a title.

They're creeping into Dallas Cowboys territory.

Editing to add:
I think parity has increased and a lot of the rest of the world caught up. Brazil no longer monopolizes legendary, once in a generation type players. This particular Brazilian team, and their core's entire run, seemed to lack any sort of strong institutional culture. The 2026 version was very old as well.

I think European tactical football has killed them. They lack the individuality and flair that was Joga Bonito.
