My “online” ND fandom started when I discovered Her Loyal Sons. Those guys were pretty cool, kept the blog busy with articles and recruiting news, and the comment sections were usually pretty busy for a blog.

I had a college buddy that I would talk ND with, particularly on recruiting stuff. Whenever HLS had news, I’d text him or talk to him about it on campus when I saw him… and he almost always had the scoop before I did. One day, he told me he was getting the most recent Davonte Neal news on a website called Irish Envy.

I found Davonte Neal’s profile, created an account so I could share what I knew about how BK used similar athletes at UC, and that was all she wrote. @woolybug25 welcomed me, told me to stick around, then proceeded to almost never be nice to me again. Y’all have been stuck with me ever since.

Man, that was easily one of the most frustrating games I'd ever watched.

I had to ditch them because I was running a race the next day in Detroit. I was hoping it was a 3:30 kick so I could just drive back after the game. Honestly, I got like 3 hours of sleep that night anyway from how worked up I was after that shit performance, so I probably could have just gone and driven back home anyway to the same amount of sleep

I was at a Dallas Stars game, 5 rows from the ice on the blue line and spent the 3rd period pacing watching this f'n game on the phone. We lost during the 3rd and my Bama buddies were brutal, not as bad as the Northern Illinois game, I was at the Texas/Bama game, side note one of the hottest games in recorded history, ppl were passing out in 100 degree and not a cloud in the sky. I watched the end of that game No. Ill game at a UT bar and I literally wanted to crawl under a college urinal, death felt too easy of an out.
