Check Craigslist and other local marketplaces for office overstock. I found a thousand dollar lightly used Herman Miller chair for 250. Best decision I've ever made

My wife and her BFF were known as Bia 1 and Bia 2 in high school. Not only did they take it as a compliment, they reveled in it. To this day, she is very antagonistic and confrontational. For better and for worse. Meanwhile, I'm the polar opposite. I'm very diplomatic, civil, and non-confrontational. I'm not a pushover by any means. I just pick and choose my battles.

With that said, we have a broken privacy fence that is a "shared fence" between neighbors. No verbal or written agreements in place. The fences were there prior to us buying the house.

Before I had a chance to pull plot plans or discuss anything with anyone, my wife says "They're paying half!" and "It's not right that they tied into our fence and get an extra foot of the property line in their backyard!"

Pray for me. Pray for my neighbors. :ROFLMAO:

People go absolutely bonkers over property lines, even if it's just an inch. Our very first house, the day we were moving in, we were approached by the neighbor. He was complaining because about three feet of our crushed stone driveway extended about six inches onto his property. He had been arguing with the former owners about it for a couple of years. Took me about fifteen minutes to rake the gravel back. Looked at the guy, said there you go and walked away to finish moving.

Decision should be based on who is more likely to continuously sleep with you, his wife, neighbors wife, or maybe even the other guy.

I told my wife that if the fence is 100% on our property per the plots and w/o any verbal or written agreement, we cannot force someone to pay for any costs, let alone half. Prepare yourself for inevitable rage, but hope for the best. Met with crickets.

To the bolded: Ironically, yes, but because of other factors. I jokingly suggested the fence issue be the initiator to us moving. Again, met with crickets.

The wife has gotten into "miniatures" lately. Making these little rooms with the furniture and little details. Came home and she's a little upset. She tells me she can't find this part to a lamp. Says she's been looking for a couple of hours and swears the dog got a hold of it. I start looking around all of her stuff. She tells me, "Don't bother with that, I've already went through all of that stuff." I look down and guess what I find in this little box along with other miniature parts? I ask if this is what she's looking for. "Where did you find it?" Couldn't help myself and said, "Right where you told me not to look". lol

My conversations with my wife are the opposite. She's probably on a message board at this very moment posting in a thread titled "Husbands and the Stupid **** they do"
