Asst Strength coach was getting very close to drawing a penalty. BK was right to be upset even if he did overreact.

Appropriating Declan’s death for your own Twitter clout is BS tbh. Why is he complaining about both BK not talking to him and being forced to retire? Are you asking for sympathy for real medical difficulties or saying you should still be playing football? Because if you think another opinion would mean not retiring, you can transfer anywhere else and play. Inconsistent and nothing like a tragic death.

I didn't take his post that way at all. I think he commented on the original tweet because he has a personal axe to grind against BK and wanted to add his own "BK sucks" story to the pile. As for his comments about being medically retired, I'd imagine that was to add context as to why BK stopped talking to him. To show that he is a transactional person interested in what people can do for him.

Dude’s name is David Grimes. Was actually my Moreau professor one semester during freshman year when he was the assistant strength and conditioning coach. Super chill

Kelly was a good coach not a great coach. I will take the Kelly run where we at the very least were consistently winning bowls & beating USC over the constant embarrassment in bowls and never (in the case of the previous two coaches) beating USC that I experienced most of my life sitting through the Davie, Ty, & Charlie eras. That being said he wasn’t capable of winning big in the post season. We MIGHTVE held on to win the 2022 Fiesta Bowl had he stuck around for that one but I don’t think we would’ve beaten UGA last season under Kelly.

This is a serious point worth discussing. It is odd to throw tens of millions to pay a guy not to coach, when in theory you could pay tens of millions and just buy NFL-caliber players.
