You don’t know football until you’ve seen a Dan Enos coached team for four years.

The class before mine was the first with a losing record. Mine was the second. Our QBs those years were George Izo (long time member of the St.Louis Cardinals) and Darryl Lamonica (the Los Angeles Raiders "Mad Bomber"). Izo had people like first team All-American Nick Pietrosanti ( --> Detroit Lions along with our Center/LB) to carry the ball along with several other future pros (ex. Bob Weitoska / Bears; Monte Stickles /49ers ; Red Mack /Steelers --these guys played forever) . Lamonica had people like Nick Buoniconti on his team. Kuharich was so dumb that he had a future decade-long NFL offensive tackle (Jim Snowden) paying fullback. Another decade long NFL TE ( Paul Costa) was at halfback. BRILLIANT personnel management. My class also had two NFL tackles. ... it was a lovely exercise in continuous irritation and stoic spiritual patience building. ... you "modern" guys have NOTHING to complain about.

If we could have just recruited that one guy -- but he had eligibility problems. ... and he ate the staff we sent.

I think they beat A&M this weekend, mostly bc I think the aggies are a very good but not great team who are just due for a loss.

I really just don't think LSU is very good this year. They're definitely talented, but I think BK has lost that team. Nussmeier is a slightly more talented, southern version of Drew Allar. It's over for BK. aTm smells blood. Aggies roll

Question: Do Purdue fans get as weird as IU fans about us not giving a shit about their program?

For questions or inquiries please see the Curt Cignetti thread
As an alum
My favorite thing was was the "F IU chants" at every sporting event...including when Purdue was playing "rival" Notre Dame. I'll never forget Mantis face when Purdue did that while down around probably 100

I’m on the opposite side, I feel like Elko will have his dudes frothing at the mouth to tee off on a BK team lol

LSU doesn't have the offense to keep up with A&M. I think it's that simple.
Yeah. I actually agree with the assessment that aTm isn't a great team and I could see them just falling apart, but I don't think LSU has the horses (or Tigers, I guess) to do it.

He lost to Ole Miss and Vandy. Brian has some questions to answer If he gets blown out. He beat Clemson and thats a dog and pony show. He has no good wins without beating aTm.
I hope they keep him and they beat bama next week. It'll make things fun

Brian Kelly looking clueless and mother-fuckin everybody on the sidelines is Brian Kelly in a nutshell.

“WHY ARE WE THROWING THAT PASS IN THAT SITUATION?”

“WHY ARE WE LETTING THEIR WR GET THE SIDELINE ON A SCREEN?”

“WHY ARE WE CONTINUING TO PUNT TO THE FAST RETURNER?”

BK will (sometimes) make a show of accountability in a presser. But at some point, the dudes working under the head coach continuing to coach the wrong things reflects poorly on… the head coach?

A one score win at an unknowingly awful clemson team is probably keeping him his job right now. Very likely to be 5-4 after next game vs Bama. Might have to win the last 3 against an Arkansas showing some life and at Oklahoma to keep his job.

If LSU punt him it would be a situation where he would get paid his annual salary $10m or whatever it would be for the balance of his contract, less anything he gets from a new job I would imagine.
