Sadly, some of these kids are just that stupid. Doesn’t help when they’re largely raised in broken homes or raised by shit bag parents.

Hard to believe he didn’t have an inking as to what happened as they found two AR-15 rifles, a Draco, and a Glock. I mean, when my friends stop by, it’s totally customary for them to bring multiple weapons … 😒

The kid is giving death stares to the reporter. Not even smart enough to look remorseful or sorry.

I don't know man, he looks like a scared kid to me, who got put in an impossible dilemma by his friends and who knows his life is now completely in the hands of a bunch of people whose immediate instinct on seeing him is to assume he's a dumb, violent animal that needs to be locked up.

Top 10 RB recruit, track star, with offers from Vanderbilt and Northwestern that would suggest he’s not a complete idiot. What a waste. Friends from back home can be so much trouble.

Quite an assumption.

Or they are just shit on by our horrendous society that feeds off the most vulnerable instead of raising them up.

Watched first episode of that SEC Netflix special. Watching him complain about putting his life and future in the hands of 18-22 year olds while in the same episode pulling an exotic bottle of wine from a floor to ceiling glass enclosed wine room made me want to punch my TV.

Living in the south people carrying weapons of all types on their persons is fairly common. Im guessing you migh tbe implying they had them illegally . I routinely have asked my brother in law and his wife to leave their weapons in the car when they come to my house. lol

Hell I have to ask my friends to check their weapons at the door just so I know whats in my house and who is carrying sometimes.
Good idea to be perfectly honest. Don’t want to be at the mercy of another person’s firearm safety. Accidents are way too frequent to take it lightly

I know this is going to come back and bite me in the ass, but I feel really good about this team this year. The schedule is a bear and this team has a few question marks (mainly, the offensive line), but I have a feeling they might be scary good. Our defensive line might be the best we’ve had in decades, the linebacker room is filthy, our WR’s will be unreal, I love Durham at RB (and am obviously excited to see what Harlem Berry can do), and have full confidence in Nussmeier. Our secondary shouldn’t be a slouch either ….

Like I said, it won’t surprise me if I’m bitching and moaning after week one as my faith in Kelly is scarce, but for some reason, I think this team — even if in despite Kelly’s flaws — can roll. We’ll see. It’s the most optimistic I’ve been since he’s taken the job.

Okay, I'm officially on for retracting my statement above. I mentioned in this thread that the offensive line was a concern. On Monday, Kelly came out and said we'd rotate up to 8 linemen. I'm no Saban or Lombardi, but in my experience, you rotate defensive linemen .... not offensive linemen. They must be really struggling if that's the case.

To make matters worse, this came out recently:

“That’s why I’ve said publicly this is the best roster we’ve had,” Kelly says. “I didn’t say that this is a team that’s going to beat Alabama and Georgia. We think that we have a roster, though, that can compete with anybody in the country. Now we got to go prove it.”

Way to really instill confidence in your team and fans, "coach." This team's going to lose between 3-6 games because of this boring, low-t ass clown.

I’m really proud of the way you’re moving so quickly through the “11 Stages of Brian Kelly”

Before I read those quotes I would've laid a few bucks on them beating Clemson, afterwards might take an alt line of Clemson -13.5
Their strength (defensive line) vs. our weakness (offensive line)....yikes. If you have a poor offensive line, you can't run the ball or pass block. We shall see...it, once again, appears Kelly can't field a complete team. There's always one chink in the armor.

It's time to be brutally honest about him. He's been afforded every opportunity to be successful, and if he's incapable of doing it in his 4th season with this roster, coaching budget, facilities, talent rich state, and so forth, then he can't do it.

It wouldn't matter. This is a guy who had Quenton Nelson and Mike McGlinchey next to each other on the same line and they still couldn't figure out how to run the ball against good teams, and elected try to throw the ball in a hurricane rather than run behind two top-10 draft picks.
