Another program leaves Under Armour.

I think I threw up a little watching that. I know I am a minority but I am so glad ND didn’t go with Nike and I hope ND never does. I despise New Balance, no real reason, but would take them in a heart beat over Nike. I’d take any apparel company over Nike.

And people called me a mad man

For real though being a hockey player I've always had a soft spot for Warrior. Their stuff is awesome. I think it would have the cool factor ND was looking for with UA and also be unique. New Balance is obviously back in vogue with Zoomers.

Same as a lacrosse player. I don't think necessarily Warrior would have the same cool factor that you might be looking for though. Just send it and get Polo Ralph Lauren jerseys

Interesting timing...my boys all boys Holy Cross HS, ND College Prep in Niles, IL, just announced they are leaving UA and joining Nike.

NDCP Partners with Nike on All-School Deal

NILES, Ill. (July 1, 2025) - Notre Dame College Prep has entered into a partnership with Nike, and BSN Sports. Notre Dame will transition from Under Armour to Nike as the school’s primary athletics outfitter and this new agreement will outfit NDCP student-athletes, coaches and fans in the latest Nike apparel and footwear. Notre Dame College Prep is the first high school in the area with an all-school partnership with the industry leader in sports apparel.

“We are thrilled to announce this unique, all-school partnership with Nike,” said NDCP President Shay Boyle. “Nike, a very popular, worldwide brand, and Notre Dame College Prep, the largest all-boys, Catholic high school in Illinois, joining together is an amazing opportunity. We will be able to provide the best Nike performance gear for our students while also offering a wide variety of NDCP Don spiritwear options for the entire Notre Dame community. Our Dons, staff, alumni, parents, and future Dons are excited to Just Don It!”

As part of the partnership, NDCP student-athletes will have the option to purchase discounted footwear and BSN Sports will host fitting days for footwear. BSN Sports is an industry leader in the marketing, manufacturing and distribution of sporting goods and will play a critical role in facilitating the transition to Nike.

The online NDCP Sideline Store, which is managed by BSN Sports, will be stocked with Nike gear. The store offers a wide variety of spirit items which can be customized to represent each individual sport.

This collaboration between Notre Dame College Prep, BSN Sports and Nike signifies NDCP’s commitment to providing the best resources for students and student-athletes.

LSU Football Plans to Sell Jersey Patch Advertisements, Pending NCAA Approval

Doesn’t surprise me with the direction the sport has moved to. Hell, we hardly wear our
classic uniform anymore (gold helmet, white jersey, gold pants) so who cares? The work ups with the LSU jersey and Cane’s or Tabasco logo are pretty funny.

I wonder if ND would ever succumb to that? Y’all’s uniform is as classic as the Yankee’s pinstripes. If so, what brands? Guinness?

Luckily, the school appears to frown on things like this.
Who knows though? If it ends up making teams so much money it puts ND at a disadvantage, I could see them succumbing. They already have UA, so we've been slowly acclimated.

Teams I could never see with ads on their jersey:
Notre Dame
Alabama
Penn St

I would say I dont think ND would cave...but i dont want to jinx it. It would look very out of place relative to rest of college football's cathedral

LSU Seems like the type of school to have a personal injury lawyer advertisement on their uniforms

Thought about that, too. Notre Dame, Alabama, Michigan, Penn State ... maybe Texas or USC?
