Dude, are we buying kids?
There’s zero chance he has in on KSU this morning and then just changed his mind this afternoon. Dafuq is going down in the Bend right now?
There has to be sanctions coming? Cheating on a test scandal?
In '90 it was expected, pretty much stayed that way til '95.Is this what 1990 felt like? We need to sustain this into 2027, that's how you win a title. But hats completely off to the staff for the track they're on for 2026.
My immediate thought when seeing this is that we bought him.
My fear in that with a kid that wanted to stay local, how long before that issue resurfaces? Not trying to take a dump on this….. just initial thoughts and complete speculation
If this is a 4-10 class in the rankings I’m happy with it because I’d trade our current composition plus Finley and Golden for pretty much any other team’s 2025 classND being the new NIL boogie man for these programs, but only for kids that are actual ND fits is 1) some sweet redemption after the recruiting losses of the last few years and 2) the exact strategy that should consistently land ND in the 4-10 range of class rankings
Sometimes it’s not complicated. ND bagmen in the house.
Let me ease your mind
Washington is listed as a Junior on the UND rosterFrom what I understand is that they wanted to take 2 TE in '25. 1(T-TE) & 1(M-TE) But only got 1 in James Flanigan, who IMO is a stud. While he's more than just an inline TE, he's still more of traditional do it all TE rather than the new school modern TE types.
IMO Jacobson & Fryzel would be great pickups but I don't see them playing early, they need time to marinate more or less.
So because I think those 2 need time and that Premer is much more of a plug and play prospect and the fact that they wanted 2 TE in the previous class it does make sense to me to take 3 in '26 to get the 4 total that they wanted.
Come 2026 if they had a base 12 personnel you're going to have Flanagan and Flanigan ahead of Jacobson for the inline TE. As for the M-TE they've got 1 season of the unknown Ty Washington. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised but I'm not going to hold breathe on this one. Then there's Jack Larson. I like the kid and I want him to make it and he has elite hands and route running skills however he is short and slow for the position IMO .
In this scenario Premer would have a real possibility for quality PT while giving a year for Fryzel for his body to catch up with his readymade receiving skills.
