Yeah man I don't know if you don't know how you came across but it was a weird take on your part especially if you've read what merk and bua had said on how loy is not liked in the gug and pretty much lost all his sources just all an all a weird interaction on your part

Yeah, I can go back and forth with Bua about losing access to info being a good idea or not and that's cool. I'll stand by having access to Loy, regardless how you feel about him, being a plus vs a minus and more will agree with me than him.

Some things I've stated as negative will never be behind Notre Dame, fwiw.

I have no problem answering "negative" questions re: ND..but as I've mentioned a few times....sometimes the premise of the negative question is incorrect and it feels like rather than genuine curiosity we were/are(?) being asked to confirm conspiracy theories or whiny fan narratives re: Notre Dame.

I’m a fucking part owner here. No one has more interest in an insider hanging out than me and the other guys that bought in… but maybe because I’m a part owner, I also sometimes feel protective about the community we’ve built here.

In that regard, losing a new guy with insider info because he didn’t want to deal with [light] pushback is not nearly as offensive as people attacking long-time posters that have been a part of our little Internet community for far longer.

Dale (and now Bobby Mac lol) didn’t do shit wrong. They’re being nicer to the insiders with their posts than they are to the rest of us when our little in-the-family spats happen.

Honestly, @Cackalacky2.0 is wayyyyyy meaner to me about Skyline Chili than anything Merck experienced, and @greyhammer90 should honestly be in jail for the way he bullies me about Assassin’s Creed video games… but you don’t see me running! Y’all are stuck with me, and hopefully I’m stuck with all of you regulars.

If someone wants to arrive like lightning in a bottle and then jet rather than answer for their insider claims, that’s their prerogative. But don’t stretch the limits of what ACTUALLY happened to bash people who have actually put time in with this community.

You knew it would end this way the moment everyone started unloading every question that was ever in their head. It was crazy. All of a sudden it was very un-IE like. I personally loved the patience and information Merk and Bua showed. I don't know why it couldn't be like every other insider in the past that could come by and give us info when they had it, but it got out of control quickly. He lasted much longer than I thought he would once the crazy questions kept coming right and left. Many of the questions were solid, but there were some that felt like people were just trying to come up with questions just to ask questions. That would be exhausting to sit and continually answer every random thought people had. Especially if he had health issues and had loved ones with health issues. I feel like if we had been like normal IE and were our cool selves, he would still be here. No offense intended, but instantly we turned into teenage girls around a boy band. If we were just our normal cool selves, we could bring him in and treat him like everyone else. Bummer to be without the inside info. I appreciate what I did learn. Still love you all.

Heard through the grapevine that Merckxe has recently been spotted on USC boards.

Said Notre Dame Irish Envy did everything they could to keep him, but he believes USC has the best support/staff message board in the country… They are, as a recruiter message board, the best he’s ever been around.
