I recently completed a 2000 piece puzzle and lost one piece, thus did not finish.
It took me about 4 weeks to finish.
i was pissed for about 2 weeks, was that an appropriate emotion?

This is the exact kind of post I would envision in the J3P Q&A thread. Let's make this happen gents.

Thoughts and prayers for the missing piece BTW...

Crap - I was just getting over being pissed about a puzzle I did last winter with a missing piece. Thanks for bringing this up. You just ruined my off season.

@Merckxe525

Just so he knows about the thread. Not against him having his own thread since you all hound him so much. hah
I guess we should actually have questions for him in his thread for him to answer instead of another derailment. It looks more like a thread about puzzles than anything ND related.

I would probably recommend it for the people in this thread. I've been deleting and moving way too many posts lately. Can't imagine Merck wants to read through 1000 posts of nonsense to help answer those questions.

So I’ve been seeing references but clearly missed the big reveal or whatever,… who is he?

I’m the real Captain America.

After my wife and I bought our current house, I had to get a fence up ASAP to keep my Husky from roaming the neighborhood. Day four in the house and I had a post hole digger running in the side yard between my house and neighbors.

Neighbors are three older women, two sisters that live with their very elderly mother. Very nice ladies.... but at the time, I guess the new neighbor renting "heavy" machinery without knocking on their door was bad neighbor etiquette in their opinion, so they called their brother, a 50-something dude, to come over and give me a talking to.

He walked up while my FIL and I were working, and just stared at me until I cut the machine off.

ENFORCER: "Ladies were kind of concerned with all the loud noise over here today. Couldn't knock on the door and give them a heads-up?"

ME: "Well, I honestly didn't think I needed to get neighborhood permission to work in my yard. But I apologize if I worried them. I'm IrishLion by the way." [holds out hand for a handshake]

ENFORCER: "I'm Steve Rogers." [tries to squeeze the shit out of my hand]

ME: "Steve Rogers... like Captain America???" [Stares directly into his eyes while smiling like a maniac]

CAPTAIN AMERICA: [stares down at his keys, jingles them once, slowly turns and leaves]

ME: "Thanks for stopping over Cap!"

Have never heard from him again, and the ladies next door are wonderful neighbors. I shovel their driveway whenever it snows.

TL;DR
You are not the real Captain America. I met him, and he's a baby back bitch.

Merk,
What’s the staffs opinion on our young WR’s? Do you see any of them getting significant playing time?

He’s mentioned before Williams is still off.

Merck what are your thoughts on the men’s hoops team right now? Is the portal going to be a problem going forward for non-football sports in terms of being able to use it?

KK Smith - Hampered by injuries off, and on. Quick. Shifty. Now knows the offense. Unfortunately, he’s just buried on the depth chart.

Micah Gilbert - Good route runner. Average blocker. After initially struggling, he’s now picked up the offense. He’ll get some situational time early in the season, and may play into a more rotational role, if he continues to present a big target. (CJ has good timing with him)

Cam Williams - Likely still a year away. (But yes, he’s incredibly talented)

Logan Saldate - Very disciplined route runner. Good hands. Presents a solid target. Has picked up the offense well. So, he may see sporadic time this coming year.

Sorry if already asked, but what are you hearing about the 2026 recruiting class? Is ND thinking that it will be a step up from '25? How does ND feel about Grubbs as a prospect?
