I don't know, but I sure as hell hope that's a kicker on the bench.
Lol, I love the gym bro machismo being thrown around. You have no idea the loading parameters, acceleration/speed being tracked during the workout or the goal of that training session.

"hey, i used to throw up three wheels all day long...... *ogre sounds*...."

"105 was a warm-up when I was in 7th grade....."

Of course, I think yours was actually a joke, so nice work. I did laugh before typing the above.

Also, excited to see what James can do.

It's okay. You can say you've never benched 225. We're here for you

It throws me off that their 25s look like 45s.
Are they 25lbs or 25kg? Because it wouldn’t surprise me if they are kilograms since that’s how a lot of lifting comps are measured. That would put them at 55 pounds which would make sense for a “plate.”

Fuck that, I wanna see a big ol' number 45 on the side of my plates.

Motivated from the disrespect he was getting from the host of the Jonaz announcement that kept saying we didn’t sign a rb last class.
I definitely think he’s being overlooked by us, the fan base. And obviously he’s doing exactly what a good player does… working hard to prove the naysayers wrong. Maybe he turns into another Kyren Williams?

He seems properly rated IMO. He had a great spring and his ceiling in 2025 should be RB4. There’s nothing wrong with that for a true freshman.

Visually, the young man looks put together. If he can keep that grind in his mind for a full year, we might have a helluva sleeper on our hands. His compact, athletic build really reminds me of McCaffrey, (aesthetically). Both in the 5'10, 195ish range. McCaffrey had more long speed but James' highlights are fun to watch.

He certainly possesses a number of tools to be a great RB for us.

The battle to replace Price & Love is going to be INSANE. Other than OT its gotta be the most loaded position on the roster
Indeed but it's going to get even more insane Coach Ja'Juan Seider is looking to one up his '26 RB class in '27.

The RB room IS more loaded than the OLine room. And THAT is nearly impossible to imagine.

It is my belief that we will have the RB roomS of the two best other RB rooms in the country.

I've never seen anything like this at ND. There is no way to keep all these guys. (Sadly.)

An old man should remember 1990

My Dad (‘94) was roommates and best friends with Willie Clark, who became an NFL defensive back but started in the RB room. He always liked to brag about how Willie was 7th on the RB depth chart, and every guy ahead of him and the one guy behind him made the NFL at running back. Crazy stuff!
