It's a typo.

He's a 4-star, 66th overall player according to On3. Rivals has him at 36th overall and the 4th rated DL.

And of course, ESPN is back in the corner eating glue and rating him outside of the top 200 and the 22nd best DL.
ESPN’s rankings are a joke. They cater their rankings for the SEC so they can get views/click smdh

I did not expect to be at the 275 pound clearly a DT moving forward stage this yearly. Thought it would be a next year thing

I don’t see how the talent we are bringing in at DE and our scheme how he’s a DE if he gets any bigger, though he does carry that well if he’s actually 275 currently.

Jamie said he wasn’t around for the Tuitt and Lynch class but that Burgess was the most physically impressive freshman he’s seen since covering the team. Said he ran specifically with the edge defenders during team drills and didn’t look out of place at all at 275.

I respect the evaluation part of Jamie U quite a bit and he’s not one to unjustly throw praise around.

Another thing I thought was interesting is just how much bigger the DL room is as a whole and then specifically on the interior. You then take a look at the 2026 class and the size and athleticism that adds….. Washington deserves some real credit.

It was funny to hear them discuss how Trumbetti and Greer wouldn't play for this team. We have made so much progress

Can't speak about Trumbetti, but I thought Greer was considered a high football IQ guy that maybe wasn't the most athletic, yet he was still a good football player that was almost always in the right position. It certainly feels like we're more athletic at LB these days which is good, but I also feel like ND guys run into some recency bias at times, like every year our guys are better than the year before. You'd think we have 85+ future NFLers by now.

To be fair, we have been putting most of our LBs in the league as of late. It does appear they keep ratcheting up a notch.

Bertrand, Liufau, Kiser, JOK

Don't know if Drew White or Bo Bauer have had any traction in the league but our projected starters/big time contributors are on a good trajectory to be drafted. Lots of talent has been added over the last 4 years.
