Fried bologna with the crispy edges and some white bread with a nice piece of plastic government cheese. Chefs kiss

I grew up at English/Brookville and Arlington and never tried this place…down the street from Rustic Gardens literally right across the street from Lowell Little League. Terrace Ave. Lowell LL is where I honed my lefty swing even though I played at Christian Park. 😉

WTF was I doing? 🤷‍♂️ Love me a good tenderloin. I always got that at Edwards.

My Step-mom’s mom used to own the Sugar Shack. Back then it was Imagine’s Pub.

I also know Scott who used to own the Harvester. When Navistar shutdown, so did his bar. Tried turning it into a Roscoe’s taco but that didn’t last long. His daughter-in-law is Catt Sadler who used to be something on ETV/Fox 59 News. My best friend from RHS is married to her sister.
Edward’s had good tenderloins but shut down. Someone else reopened it under another name, but they’re only open during the day so I haven’t made there to see if the food is the same

Very true. Happy Days it is now. Another fun fact, back in the day caddy corner from there on Sherman and English my grams used to run that Mr. Dans.

This is a specialty I taught myself how to make which is an authentic 12 hour boiled Tonkotsu Ramen bone stock

When I finished dicking down the lady last night is what this looks like. We never put it in a bowl, however. I’d assume Brick’s recipe would have more of a browner tint.

ok-to much!!

I mean...the man ain't wrong! That was my first thought too given this is Brick we're talking about.

Mr Dans was originally called Gay Dans. They had killer burgers.

Legit Italian sandwich place by me, Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream on fresh made focaccia bread. One of my favorite sandwiches of all time
Last night I had a salami (3 types) sandwich on fresh Italian bread I had to slice. Added some Baby Swiss and mustard. Should have made two.

Had this exact sandwich but with razor thin prosciutto instead of mortadella. At Royal Crown
Royal crown on Hylan? Place is awesome. Try this place if you get a chance

IDK how much or how many of you get down this way but you gotta try the Gullah cooking if and when you do.
This how I cook my collards and red rice right here.

I’m in the NOVA area for work. I have never been to Philly and just happen to be curious if a Philly cheesesteak is worth the drive and if there is anything else to do or eat in Philly since I don’t have a lot to do before going home Saturday.
