@Blazers46 you get any good pizza yet? I got more recs if you're willing to venture into the belly of the beast, not sure how close you work to the city.
This thread reeks of jilted lover. I am so over him I turned his thread into a food discussion, that'll show him I don't care.
If it’s not at the Irsay Y, it won’t be sanctioned.I will fight you. Pick your local Y, set a time. I'll bring the New Riegel ribs.
Since you’re from the borderland. You ever follow the story of the guy that owned Forghettaboutit in Deming NM and then in Las Cruces that eventually blew his wife’s brains out? We used to go to his place just to watch the guy yell at his staff and be the biggest ass. The guy was always irate about something. he had some great food. Bob Yacone was his name. Wife was Kim. He first became popular when he posted a job add telling the “dreamers” to not apply. He pulled a gun out in a road rage incident. I witnessed the guy throw out someone’s leftover pizza when he noticed a large group didn’t tip.Super popular foods I could legit go the rest of my life not having because 9/10 versions of that food is straight trash;
Spaghetti
Pizza
We’ve been over this before. Brozinnis and Ordinary better than Jacks.Jacks is my favorite in Indy btw if you haven’t tried it.
OG is bad bad. As I kid I thought it was premium cuisine. Last time we went it was just to show the kids because they had never been. The waiter was at the other table explaining how they just heat up the breadsticks and aren’t even fresh. It’s sooo bad.I don’t even like a lot of Italian food but yeah OG is terrible. I like the salad and breadsticks well enough tho and just get that when I’m forced to go

Don’t forget about Skyline.
Last time I had Brozini’s (December) it was very underwhelming. Crust was like chewing a wet towel. Was super disappointed. It was packed, so maybe they had an off night. But normally, yes. I agree.We’ve been over this before. Brozinnis and Ordinary better than Jacks.
I think I remember the story but no I never went,… I’ve only driven through Demming, never really spent time that I can rememberSince you’re from the borderland. Anyway… his pizza was great. Since I was a fellow business owner in the area he would sit and chat with us and he had no problem bragging about how Italian food was such a big money maker and bragged that one plate of pasta would basically cost him $1 and he would charge $20 per plate. Going to his place and watching him scream and yell was part of ambiance.
Sadly the dumb ass bless his wife’s head off. Top 10 pizza I have ever had.

We talking fried egg or egg salad?Like 90% of this thread is like "I once found an egg sandwich on the floor during a Styx concert at the Cocklebur Dome in Buttcrack, IN. It wasn't bad."
Just terrible takes about terrible food.
Speaking of egg sandwiches, the best kept secret is fried bologna, egg, and cheese spk. This one should make heads spin.Like 90% of this thread is like "I once found an egg sandwich on the floor during a Styx concert at the Cocklebur Dome in Buttcrack, IN. It wasn't bad."

Probably my favorite sandwich. There’s a little dive joint on the SE side of Indy (English & Arlington) called the Rockola. They do a solid tenderloin sandwich.Have we talked about breaded tenderloin sandwiches yet
Going to be hard to beat the ramen I had in Hakata a few days ago. This stuff looks a whole different shade of color lol.View attachment 3058142

I grew up at English/Brookville and Arlington and never tried this place…down the street from Rustic Gardens literally right across the street from Lowell Little League. Terrace Ave. Lowell LL is where I honed my lefty swing even though I played at Christian Park. 😉I love a good fried bologna sandwich straight up on fresh bread.
