Might be the best scouting job by a ND staff in my life time. HIs play as a 3 star true freshman is really insane. Right in Texas and A&M’s back yard and they couldn’t be bothered to offer him.
His Dad is a professor at UT lol

All-time missed eval, but not sure it would’ve mattered

I mean technically Hamilton was a 3 star also ,but the services did raise him before signing day

Hell man, you could say the same thing for Anthonie Knapp, except UGA's back yard. Incredible what these two have been able to do this year getting thrown into the fire. Knapp's offer list wasn't terribly impressive and now he looks like a 3-4 year starter, IF he sticks around.

I would take Leonard’s freshman year over Hamilton’s
Oh, as would I. I was simply saying the previous staff did an amazing job of scouting Hamilton.
Kyle was a nice luxury as a frosh
Leonard has been an essential with Morrison out and has exceeded literally all expectations, already.

I think we will look back in a few years and see Morrison, Gray, Watts, Moore, Schuler all in this here same secondary all starting in the NFL and just you know reminisce.

The craziest thing? Gray is the only top 300 recruit in that entire group. This scouting department works wonders.
