I hate you… are you looking for friends?

I hope I even get a chance to drink some of it. We did a ticketed tasting even with our end of year haul last year so I was lucky enough to imbibe. We left a ton of money on the table for it considering secondary pricing on each of these bottles starts at $1k

Has anyone ever had experience with GameTime? I bought a ticket a few weeks back. Always a little nervous with the middle man ticket dealers.

Yes, I buy from them all the time,... never had an issue. They forward your tickets to your TicketMaster account however so make sure you have one.

Anyone have any feedback as to which companies have the best deals? I'm usually Stubhub or Seatgeek but am interested in Gametime and Vivid Seats.

So, does ND wear traditional home uniforms for the playoff game? What about names on the jersey’s like for bowl games?

I think Seatgeek is the official reseller so i would think that has a slight pricing edge and occasional noob who dumps tickets super cheap.

Net of fees? When I clicked "include fees" the cheapest ticket went from $708 to $950 a little while ago. $250 in fees is criminal for their "service".
That’s pretty standard. Some won’t show the fees until you’re in the checkout process but these sites all have suspiciously similar fees.

I would check Facebook. Before you laugh, boomers love using Facebook to sell stuff including tickets. Plus then you don't have to pay service fees. Just need to work payment out with some nice old man.

FB is a good idea. And I agree the fees are ridiculous, but it is what it is. I'm actually looking to buy Sugar Bowl tickets. So maybe I'll find some ragin cajun boomer.

Be careful though, you will get scammed if you pay for the tickets through venmo, cashapp, paypal without goods and services turned on. They have comprehensive fake profiles that search for people looking for tickets via ai and will nail your ass

Seatgeek and Stubhub are the way to go

I’m really excited for another broadcaster to have the opportunity to showcase an ND game. I hope they have a great intro and highlight the beauty of campus and the tradition ☘️

Just finished latest II pod w/ Prister, O’Malley, Brice & Mentock.

Brice seems to me to be the most confident in ND winning this game. He respects IU but likes ND’s athleticism. He agreed w/ the others that IU is more of a sum of their parts & that Cignetti has built a good team in a short period of time.

They seem to agree that IU is the best overall offense that ND has faced. And likely the best defense they’ll have faced but they admitted the defensive rankings could be skewed b/c of opponents. They added that ND’s offense will be far & away the 2nd best offense IU has seen behind OSU.

Mentock noted that w/ IU‘s offense they are very efficient. Brice added that they lack explosiveness like an SC so if ND can get up on IU, they shouldn’t have the fear of them charging back like SC a few weeks ago.

IU’s defense is very attacking & they will be focusing on shutting down the run…like every other ND opponent. On offense, Prister noted that IU picked on the CB Igbinosun when they faced OSU & fully expect them to do the same to Christian Gray in this game. The IU QB is very adept at the back shoulder pass & they love to throw slants.

ND needs a healthy Cross to help shore up the pass rush to help the DBs out who will all be on islands.

I think what makes this game so tough to predict is that, outside of OSU; IU didn’t play any decent teams other than scUM who shut them down in the 2H & likely win if they had any semblance of an offense.
I watched what I could find from the Michigan and Ohio State games, and here was my takeaway:

It seemed like their offense was 100% gimmick and only capable of producing points when they "scheme" a mistake for a chunk play.

Michigan game they had two big drives early, and then did nothing for the rest of the game. 6 points on 8 drives, 18 yards of offense in the entre second half.

Same thing against Ohio State... big early drive, 0 points on their next 8 drives. Only one of those drives did they even earn 10+ yards.

I think the commentary on their offense is entirely overblown by the fact that they play a certain style to run up the score on bad teams. If you can cover or get pressure, they have nothing. I do not think they are better than Louisville or USC in terms of playmakers or overall talent on that side of the ball. They are a well-coached, system team that can exploit weaknesses.

To me, the part of their team that is more of a worry is their defense, which seems fundamentally sound and capable of winning the game for them if ND makes special teams errors or Leonard is asked to throw a significant amount.

That's kinda where I'm at on them. Their coach has gotten every ounce of production out of them to get here. It's pretty impressive how hard they have dunked on peer talent teams.

Defense travels, they will sell out to stop the run. I think ND needs to be creative about getting Love the ball.

To add to this, OSU adjusted by blitzing them into submission. They don’t handle pressure well. I believe Golden will key in this and dial up the pressure. Type of game where Sneed could be an absolute nightmare for the opposing offense.

They are. They recently split the IUPUI campus away from Purdue and rebranded it IU Indianapolis. There was talk some time ago about making the Indy campus a “co-main” campus in the system with Bloomington. That has since quieted down, but they still absolutely want to channel the strength and money of Indianapolis, but weren’t able to with the shared IUPUI brand. Step two to the plan is to make football a priority. Obviously they have to fight with some prominent history there with a lot of boosters still wanting basketball to be the top priority, but as we get further away from the knight era, there’s more momentum toward the football program. It’s interesting watching it play out.

We did this with USC and just never got home. Maiva (sp?) was good at identifying the single coverage and tossing it up. Also USC receivers won more than their fair share of 50/50 balls.

I think IU will have a hard time doing that.

Sugar tickets aren't bad right now. If I was planning on going I would buy those tickets now and accept a small loss if ND doesn't make it. Price will at least double if ND makes it but not until ND lotto is complete. Short turnaround windows on these games is rough.

Maiva was also doing this, while off platform the whole game.

Well aware that "criminal" is the standard fee for these resellers. $15 per ticket fee added to ND "face value" purchase is also bullshit. How this oligopoly isn't upended in the information age is really quite amazing.
